An Academician and Fusu's current teacher. He is talented but rigid and fond of imitating pedantic Confucian scholars. He follows Confucian teachings and hopes Fusu will one day become King of Qin and allow Confucianism to flourish again, replacing the current dominance of Legalism. He is deeply devoted to Fusu and insists on accompanying him to Yongcheng.
