Also known as Cheng Ying, a female general who disguised herself as a man to serve in the army. She is the original name Cheng Ying, from a military family. She fought in place of her older brother Cheng Zhuo, who became disabled after protecting her. She achieved the rank of general and secured the cession of three cities from the northwestern border. She publicly confessed her gender in court.
