He is very tall at least 1.9 meters with explosive muscle lines, sharp features, high brow bones, a blade-like nose, and narrow dark eyes. He appeared at the base gate dragging a dead bloody wolf and holding a military dagger. Though he projects a cold, intimidating exterior and claims to be annoyed by the arranged marriage, he secretly cares for Su Huaiyin—he cooked her noodles himself when the mess hall was closed, smoothed the wooden bed board with a saw and planer through the night to prevent splinters, and ensured she had shelter despite his harsh words.
