Chashao is a former police dog and one of the five animal companions on the reality show Such a Warm Us. He was paired with rising singer Lin Lin as his temporary guardian. Chashao is described as very obedient and disciplined, traits consistent with his police dog background. During the mission selection, he swiftly grabbed a freeze-dried paper bundle from the giant selection box without hesitation. When Lin Lin read the mission card, she expressed confidence that the basketball court exercise task would be easy for a police dog like Chashao. In the evening segment, Chashao did not even need props to be called out of his cage; simply hearing his name called was enough to make him eagerly use his forehead to open the cage door. His obedience and training make him one of the easiest pets to handle on the show.
