Also known as Teacher Cao, a former military school teacher and comrade-in-arms of Fu Zhentu's father. He has been sent to the countryside for reeducation and lives in the cow shed. He is upright, energetic, and maintains distance from others. He secretly teaches Fu Yuanhang.
