A tiny sparrow no bigger than Hexin's palm, timid and nearly impossible to see. It chirped excitedly to Hexin, warning him about the dangers the explorers provoke and pleading with him to avoid danger. It offered Hexin its nest if he had nowhere to stay. It was terrified when it sensed the Man-eater Kingflower's presence and plummeted, but Hexin caught it gently.
