A legendary and immensely powerful barghest that had been disguised as Andy's dire wolf/worg companion for nearly ten days. It was the mastermind behind the entire ambush trap, intending to make the goblins and human merchant clash so it could benefit. It revealed its true form during the battle with a grotesque hybrid appearance of hobgoblin and wolf. It attempted to use spell-like abilities including Blink and Dimension Door to escape but was defeated by Gavin's superior Mind Power. Both its forelimbs were severed and a magical longsword was embedded in its neck, leaving it half-dead.
