An Songyue is the sister of An Songyu and An Songxiang. She is a student preparing for the college entrance exam (gaokao), with only a few months left. She is exhausted from studying and has no energy for extra curiosity about family matters. She briefly greets the family after evening self-study and retreats to her room. Her situation is understood by the family, who keep discussions away from her.
