The story was quite engaging. I particularly enjoyed the unique affection the male lead (ML) displayed towards our main character (MC), which added an intriguing aspect to their dynamic. What I appreciated about the narrative were several points:
1. The relationship between the ML and MC was heartwarming and genuine, featuring a gentle, blossoming romance that was a delight to read.
2. The constellation chat group provided a lot of humor, with Apollo being my favorite among the supporting characters. Their interactions brought laughter and lightness to the story.
3. The possessive and jealous moments portrayed the ML's intense feelings for the MC, making him seem almost puppy-like in his devotion, which was both amusing and touching.
Overall, these elements combined to create an enjoyable reading experience.
This novel appears to be right up my alley, featuring Yun Xi, who discovers he's been reincarnated as a celestial being. In his past life, he was notorious for his womanizing ways, which somehow garnered the affection of four powerful yandere deities seeking revenge. To confront them, Yun Xi embarks on a power-seeking journey, aided by unique seeds planted in various girls that grant them shared abilities and bind them to him romantically. The combination of an intriguing plot and a yandere harem promises a solid five-star rating, but I deducted one star due to two issues:
Firstly, the development of romantic relationships feels sluggish. While there are occasional scenes with Yun Xi's childhood friend, a prominent yandere, the progress between him and the other potential love interests is minimal, even after reading over 500 chapters.
Secondly, the pacing of the story is slow. Side plots that span over a hundred chapters are engaging, but they don't significantly advance the main storyline. The yandere gods have yet to make a significant appearance, and despite being almost 500 chapters in, the narrative still feels like it's in its introductory phase.
I read both stories by Mr. Shah and I enjoyed both immensely. The only thing I have issue with is that even though I know English was not the original language of the author he could have had someone to help proofread his work. I am not an English Major nor did I graduate college but there were so many words that had additional constants and words that I had to decipher before I figured out what the author was leading to. Again, I am not trying to sound disrespectful and I again state that I enjoyed the story. Best blessing, Namaste ?
