It's a great novel worth a read, all translated by deathblade all 1600+ chapters without the monetizing or help of qidian and supported by Er Gen. Who wanted to get his story to us outside of china. I at first was happy to see qidian international and its involvement with the community. It was an appreciated breath of fresh air, new novels and decent release rates and quality. My hope was to see it flourish and become one of the symbols of the community. But it bit off more than it could chew, forcing translators to obey or leave. Splintering the community, and throwing threats all over the place. That was bad enough but the beef at least cooled down. But this just this is absolutely shameless. A translation itself is a creative work and is protected. I just don't want to see Qidian preaching about ownership in the future. Because so far Qidian international has only proved to be duplicitous and only interested in causing chaos. But maybe my perception is skewed towards wuxiaworld, but honestly I really wish that qidian international would just disappear. Its ruining the translation scene. At this point it would just be better to switch to actually published fantasy novels rather than translated webnovels.

It's true that the romance tag wasn't properly added to warn others it's such a pity for people who starts reading but weren't warned in time so they'd wasted their time if they didn't come looking for romance novels to read. Both romance or harem should be tagged so people would be prepared.

The story is great! It starts amazingly and has realistic and incredible points of interest. There’s a mix of comedy added that is fun to read, though it gets to a bit much. The story is great up until about chapter 215. After that, and even at that point, the realistic, action-packed and gritty story turns into a complete unrealistic comedy designed to mock the previous chapters. There are complete 180’s for nearly every character and thr progression of the story stagnates early on until it completely stops. SLIGHT SPOILER- - - -Josh Malum at around 215 ish and afterwards is a total comedy character thay does whatever he wants, mocks everyone, has this insane brovado that lets him overcome anything no matter what, mocks the military and uses them for stupid fun and the very-serious-very-strong members if society bow down to him only because of their sudden interest in a made-up guild no one has heard of except from the rookie competition. This “made up” guild apparently garnered SO MUCH attention from its mention in the rookie competition championship that the military and B/A/S rated guilds bow to him and his every whim. Then it gets to the alter tower and ifs ridiculous weird challenges that are so dumb and random it ruins the story almost immediately. Honestly, I’m pretty sure the author was changed around chapter 140 or so. Great start of a book, and I loved it. The comedy and how far it went ruined it for me. It was all so random and forced it was hard to read.
Rushed, random, incoherent and unreadable mess.Immature writing.I do not recommend this.Example : the main character is betrayed, dies, get reincarnated in the body of another guy in another universe, gets a system, the systems randomly puts him to sleep for 3 years, then starts boosting him with op stuff/bloodlines/cultivation, all in a few chapters, and the MC says/thinks very little besides 'hell yeah !'...
Just like the entire series this book is a must read. I loved every moment of it.

I need to talk about Qin Yunxi and Qin Sang because holy shit these two are something else. I went in expecting a generic revenge story but what I got was a mother-daughter duo so ruthlessly pragmatic it actually made me sit up straight. The way the text describes Qin Yunxi's worldview is chilling in its honesty: "If they did, she would make an effort to maintain the relationship. If not, she would treat them coldly." And men? "Men were replaceable." She divorced her husband right before he got reported, remarried a factory director, and moved her daughter across the country—all within months. No guilt, no hesitation. Just cold calculation. But here's what got me: Qin Sang is literally her clone. When her step-sister Bai Tingting calls her "baggage," Sang Sang doesn't even flinch. She's already plotting how to make the girl pay. And that scene where she hides behind Bai Zhixin so Tingting slaps him instead? Chef's kiss. Absolutely diabolical. "Qin Sang took after her mother—selfish, self-serving, cold, and even more so." This line hit me like a truck. The author isn't hiding anything about these characters. They know exactly who they are. What I love most is their relationship with each other. There's no sappy mother-daughter bonding here. Instead, there's this unspoken understanding—like they're partners in crime who don't need to say it out loud. When Sang Sang pretends to have no appetite but secretly eats pastries in her room? Her mother knows. And she doesn't care. That's their love language. The Bai family dynamics are equally fascinating. Bai Anrong is so wrapped up in his fantasy about Qin Yunxi being his "white moonlight" that he can't see the manipulation happening right in front of him. Meanwhile, Bai Zhixin is this awkward teenager who actually has a conscience—he defends Sang Sang and gets slapped for it. I kind of rooted for him even though he's clearly being played. And Bai Tingting? She's the perfect antagonist because she's so openly hateful that you can't help but want her to get what's coming to her. But then the author drops that bomb about her not being the Bai family's biological child, and suddenly everything shifts. Karma for calling Sang Sang "baggage"—she herself is the illegitimate one. I laughed out loud.
