Then the scene moves to the Liu family's arrival in their car, which causes a sensation. The contrast between military uniforms and rural simplicity is striking. But the real atmospheric shift happens at Haishi Railway Station. It's morning, crowded, noisy—a place of transit and uncertainty. Liu Zhixia dozing half-asleep, someone bumping into her, the sudden violence of the theft and the counter-attack. The station becomes a battlefield without anyone else realizing it. And then Zhou Yunting appears with breakfast, completely calm, as if nothing extraordinary just happened. The plot has layers I didn't expect. Also, who is Jiang Wantang? She's clearly into Xie Cheng, and the way she pouted 'why haven't you replied to my messages' and he literally wiped his hand afterward? Oof. The triangle is already forming and we're only on chapter 2.

Reverend Insanity literally has one of the best-written characters in all of fiction—how tf was this random-ass book outdoing it? But alr, I gave it a shot. And let me tell you… I have never been so wrong about something in my life.This book ain’t just deep, it’s on another level. With Reverend Insanity, you know the author wants you to believe Fang Yuan is evil. He reminds you every other chapter, forces the narrative, makes sure you never forget that this man is ruthless. But Geena? Void don’t need that. There’s no forced evil, no "look how badass I am" moments. He just is. He moves through the story not as a villain, not as a hero—just as something trying to survive. And somehow, that makes him more real than any character I’ve ever seen.And the philosophy? Bro… this book fucks with your mind. Christianity, Buddhism, Spiritism, Alchemy—none of it is just thrown in for aesthetic or fake depth. It actually matters. It’s the kind of shit that makes you stop reading and just think. Not about the story, but about yourself. This book doesn’t just ask questions about hell or the afterlife—it makes you question your own reality, your own sins, your own existence. It ain’t about believing in God or not, it’s about what the fuck you’re doing with your life right now.And man, that ending. I have read a lot of books. A lot. And I’m telling you, no ending has ever hit me the way Geena’s did. This is hands down the best conclusion I have ever seen in any piece of fiction. The way everything ties together, the way it feels inevitable but still shocking at the same time, the sheer weight of that final moment… Shit is art. I will be frank I have read 40 ch till now and I can say it's fairly entertaining and intriguing, and I would like to see where this go I am especially waiting for more interaction with og character and academy arc which I hope will done. I believe the majority of base building is done and now the story will move in that direction. Will be looking forward for this
This story pulls you in right from the prologue, it’s emotional, intense, and full of mystery. I loved the connection between Seraphine and Ryou, it’s sweet, protective, and full of unspoken tension. It’s one of those reads that leaves you wanting more in the best way.

although it will take a lot of time in world building but am feeling it's going to be worth it to follow how the author keeps it interesting in the later chapters , as for now it's fascinatingly enjoyable in reading these chapters .
