This Patriarch honestly cant believe it..
Some people: a wuxia? no op cultivation? no system? Its boring!! And then some others would say: I expected necromancy and some powerful evil cultivation method from the title! 1 star then!! Yes.. they all rated it 1 star because this novel is not what they expected without even reading it. This novel is honestly really good.I wont spoil anything. You can search Death Sutra on NU to start reading it if you want. This book doesnt shy away from all the brutal realities of the world. This isnt the type of world wherin you overpower your opponent with your cultivation, instead you outsmart them poison them, attack when theyre sleeping, anything works. Like all martial arts novel only the strong are respected. Our mc came from a strong martial arts clan. But he doesnt train, hes just spoiled and pampered. His family got assasinated but he escaped only to be caught and sold as a slave to the very clan that assasinated his family. He hid his identity of course and is plotting for revenge. Hes training martial arts now while being a servant. Hes not used to being a servant btw. You think its cliche? Well it doesnt matter. What makes this amazing is its execution. The author mastered the dao of cliffhangers and keeps you at the edge of your seat for most chapters! I definitely recommend this. The world building and character development of this novel is excellent.
this is another typical chinese novel. the mc is op and leveling up faster where in he already has the ability to compete the older generation which is good in my perspective. BUT, the biggest downside most the Chinese author is that they can't utilize the power of imagination to create a fantasy, martial arts genre with an amazing and unique world background and settings without replicating the continent, and those superpower countries in our own planet earth just to justify their own china and make the other countries as villain and evil which is very cringe and hypocritical on their part.I REALLY HOPE TO ENJOY READING A NOVEL WITHOUT ANY NATIONALISM AND ONE-SIDED PERSPECTIVE WHERE IN THE AUTHOR SERVE AS A NEUTRAL NARRATOR JUST READING A WONDERFUL AND OUT OF THIS WORLD NOVEL.

Meh . Not worth the read. Translator needs fired/ re learn English.
If you are expecting this novel to be an otaku turned good looking. Who then starts to chase his dreams to become a kpop idol, while building a harem, its not. He goes to his first audition on chapter 41. for the first 40 chapters its a high school/slice of life/rom com. After chapter 41 it turns in to a slice of life/rom com, with more actual kpop stuff happening. The MC has a dream to have a harem but i think its just part of his mentality as an otaku, but the author is not going to give him that harem. So the MC just talks about it, but the harem wont happen. The author for what ever reason likes to make the MC brake the 4-rth wall and talk to the author. I don't really like it at all and i'm not the only one that does. But if you read this novel and also find the 4-rth wall braking annoying just do what i did and skip those parts and pretend they never existed to begin with.
I'm not one to really like romantic comedy's or slice of life's since they are always slow paced and boring to me. But this one is not bad, i don't hate it, But its not my favorite. it is extremely slow paced in the beginning when it comes to the MC actually chasing his dreams and not just have it as a dream till many chapters later. The chapter lengths are allover the place. Some chapters are 3,000 words while others are 800 words.
If you like Romantic comedies/ slice of life's with no harems then this is for you. but for me it was just, ok. Not my favorite, but not my least favorite.
Sigh ... this is another great work ☺️

TGR starts off with an interesting concept that makes you want to know what happened to the main character. In my opinion, the hype sadly wasn't worth the wait in finding out. Despite this, the main character isn't a scumlord and doesn't somehow attract every person in existence.
Sadly, TGR does a lot of things decently, but nothing really stands out, which would normally make me give a series 4 stars. The reason I'm giving it 3 stars instead is because the foreshadowing is just awful. Foreshadowing is a great tool for a author to build some hype for the characters, but this series will literally tell you exactly what's going to happen before it happens! For instance, main character found x, main character is now at a bottleneck and can't comprehend x, suddenly main character needs a solution. That thing he found 20 chapters ago, x, is the solution! This happens quite frequently and just ruined the story for me.

I already finished it on MTL, so... :
The story is "okay" like another usual xianxia and wuxia novel, but what disappointed me the most is the final battle and the ending.
The story is rushed like "boom" become the top powerhouse in a critical moment (well not in a very critical moment, but quite critical as like they did in BTTH and WDQK where the MC secluded and come out to become the strongest).
The problem is not only that, in the end, there is no explanation for the other...
this is the best one from the batch and a pretty fun read, so 5 stars I guess..............................................................
I haven't read a good VRMMORPG Novel in a while, so this has me hyped. It has a good storyline, and I hope for more action and reveal on the part of the Mc.
It's not perfect, but it's still refreshing to read.
I'll thickened my face and rate my own novel. Just to be your frontliner... :)
First of all, thank you for all those who read this novel. And for this those who didn't, I hope you can give this novel a chance and took a peek.

Writing a novel is something that I really liked to do. I've written a lot of it, though those works are not posted on the web as I am always afraid of what others may say about my work.
Until one day, I started reading the comments and reviews from the readers of the book i was reading, and found out that writing a novel is not only about writing your imaginations and stuff but also knowing what your readers thought of what you've written.
So I encourage you guys to write a review for this novel...
This is for my own self-improvement, and for your own self-satisfaction... :)
I hope that you'll keep reading this book... Enjoy... ;) ;) ;)
