Dropped at chapter 7. I’m sick and tired of this generic degenerate rubbish that Webnovel keeps putting out. Orphan MC gets OP nonsensical hint system with no nuance to it.
He got it after saving a child from a river, he drowned in the childs stead but system saved him. Gets villas, literally has NO personality but becomes cool now because he has a system.
The system also gives him an inappopriate mission but our MC is a good person and doesn’t do anything inappropriate even though our MC is basically the authors self insert and the author wrote the system to be that way. I could go on about how everything from the plot, characters and worldbuilding are just painfully soulless, unoriginal and bad but this review is already longer than this novel deserves. 0/5.

The chapters haven't been rewritten despite the plot being full of holes, mc being a complete idiot because of someone is the opposite gender, very inconsistent mc. Overall this is rated way too high, a three star at most due to it being written well with no or not many grammatical errors. It might be better in later chapters but that doesn't matter if you can't stomach the earlier ones which are painful to read.
i personally do not recommend reading this novel to anyone but the mentally challenged,

I truly love IET's novels. Personally his work with laws and breakthroughs are fantastic. Strangely, he is known for his grand and expansive worlds but i feel the starts - or maybe the early middle - of his novels are the best. When people first start training in laws but it hasn't reached universe breaking levels. Anyways very good novel with a friendly MC and cultivation system which is unique and although the sword stuff is reminiscent of Desolate Era its a bit different. I do want him to do another elemental one like coiling dragon next though.
Decent story but infrequent updates really hurts credibility and you will probably not finish the story in this lifetime..........................................................................
1.It is quite unbelievable plot that the big families have send their future heads/candidates in such dangerous forest without proper training.
Also why are they giving guards! not only these guards are useless can't do their job, they can't even procure food.Even the suppose useless mc is more knowledgeable than them,so they also can't be proper guide.
So to me the whole plot is very forced & weakly knitted.
2.Now for the mc. -A ULTIMATE SIMP-
Through the whole novel he is simping over beauties.
And he is so intelligent that he charges 'magically enhanced delicious food' for 3 silver, when other sells 'normal bland chicken drumsticks' for 10 silver.
3.Moreover it is also kinda 'Sign in' type novel. As we don't clearly understand how he is leveling up(I am talking about the new recipe getting not the system update with gold).
Also a gourmet system where u don't even have to cook doesn't go well with me.

The grammar is good, you can read every chapter good without any problems, the story is nice, it has a good pace too, I like that like the minor ranks are more skipped, like "after 4 months training...", and not like some novels which are so slow paced. 1 update per day is great, could be more
