i didn't like any aspect of the novel.
using chinese names in a western setting.
MC thinking about getting powerful but only uses borrowed power, there is no mention of him trying to increase his personal stats.
even the cheat "dimensional codex" seems ****ty to me. random rewards, random skills etc.
The story is quite complicated and doesn't stop anywhere but keep flowing like water. No one is good nor bad, just playing the game their way. I have read many stories but this story has a soul of its own. I really wish the author to be successful and famous and keep writing many stories ahead. Love from Just an Another Author.

I like it, like it, like it! That's all I can say. From the first chapter this story has captured my heart, and I'll gladly continue reading it! Characters are very three-dimensional, some you can sympathize with, some not. The world background is seriously cool, if not a little dark, but that's the charm that enraptured me. To be honest, the first chapter felt like a delusional dream, and I loved it! I want more!
Chinese reader, and I just finished all raw chapters released so far. Honestly, KB doesnt feel like a web novel but a printed one.
BTW, I check author's Weibo(like Chinese twitter), seems he knows his novel translated in Webnovel.com, and he keep reading the Eng version as we do.
But the funniest part is, the author says he cant keep up on the updated, coz he CANT afford the SS!
This has definitely become one of my favourite novels to read after becoming tired of most of the novels these days. The grammar is not the best, but it is definitely readable and the story is worth it. If you find factory stuff satisfying and you like to see soldiers in a cultivation world with guns, try this novel out. It isn't rushed and you will see the impact of our modern ideologies in another world.
A tip I would give after reading up to chapter 25 would be to view capital letters as the start of new sentences. Also, sometimes lists are missing commas. Other than that, read with imagination and creativity. There is no romance or weird behaviour so far, it's pure content.
