I loved the book up until the ending. I feel like I am being g forced to read another book because this one is not complete. I would have wanted to read the next book for the love story but now I don't know if I want to because I do not like being tricked

interesting one...will surely not miss the updates
Why all the male characters in your books are always the same? Violent, rude! Your style is always the same it’s like you’re writing about the same characters but different names.
update please
very interesting book, you get drawn to it the more you read. But I noticed a thing, some of the chapters were repeated, you have to remove them. Thanks for this amazing story.
I hope Leah finds strength despite the betrayal and be strong for her baby while karma visits her ex husband who betrayed her
Still no update
Another fabulous book by this author. I simply love reading your books. I am eagerly looking forward to more of your works! Keep writing.... :) <3 xoxo
Very good loved it
I liked the book. However, I felt that things were wrapped up in a hurry. There was no explanation how set came back and no epilogue to finish up the last few strings of the kids and the castle. Love it overall just wished a few more things were explained.
There's this one moment that keeps replaying in my head. Lei Dashu says: "Go ahead and fry the little fish for the kids. The autumn harvest has been tiring—this will be a good way to replenish everyone." And his wife's immediate reaction is heartache over the oil cost. Not unwillingness—just heartache. She'd fry a hundred fish if she could afford the oil. That single detail—oil as a luxury, as something counted and mourned—tells you everything about this world. Every meal is a calculation. Every celebration is measured against scarcity. The one-month banquet for An An and Lele? Half a jin of meat, just the close family, no fuss. This is a family that loves deeply but lives constantly on the edge. Then Yueyue's article earns sixteen yuan and seventy cents plus a food coupon. Sixteen yuan. In a world where ten yuan a day is considered impossibly high, this is a small fortune earned by sitting at home and writing. Lei Qingshan immediately chants "Within books lies a house of gold, within books lies a beauty like jade" and the whole family treats it like gospel. The theme is right there on the table: education as the only real escape route from this life of grain sacks and oil calculations. But here's what I think the book is also saying: the gold in books didn't come easy for Yueyue. She earned it while confined to bed, while breastfeeding, while learning to navigate a new body and a new family. Knowledge is power, yes—but power still has to be wielded with your hands tied behind your back sometimes. The fried fish and the food coupon are the same story told in different languages.
