God did destroy the world tho (flood remember). So he is even more powerful. you may be able to erase it, but he can create it and destroy it. and that is far more terrifying. Interesting synopsis tho. Let's see if it is good.
I would like to preface this review by saying I thoroughly enjoyed the story. I would definitely recommend it to someone. I just think there is a minor issue that keep it from earning a five star rating.The first issue is not one that limits the story from being rated five stars. I have read up to chapter 220 and this issue was a recent occurrence. The author stopped including the main character status page after he leaves the beginner village. I have not seen the main character’s stats or the stats of his summons for at least 30 chapters and it is a little bit frustrating. The status page was the main way that the author showed the main characters progress in the story. But, although it seems that the author is limiting the usage of the status in the soul book, it is not a dealbreaker. I can live with it.The main issue that I feel limits the story from being five stars is the interaction between the main character, female lead, and slime. Iris, the female lead, is a beast tamer. She has raised a few beasts in the past. Apparently, treating the beast like a child is the best way to raise them because that is what she does.The other reasoning the author gave for the interaction with the slime is that it is family. I understand the justification that the slime is family, not a tool or pet, but that doesn’t mean it has to be treated like a baby. when the slime is kissed on the cheek every single chapter it’s pretty annoying. Also, the slime kisses the characters on the cheek every single chapter. Obviously, I am over exaggerating. But, when reading the story it feels as if that is the case. It got on my nerves a lot when I read the story. I understand that we treat our pets in a similar manner, but it was really cringeworthy when reading. Furthermore, the slime calls the main character papa and the female lead mama which is also very annoying. I’m pretty sure this novel has an R 18 tag, and these interactions make the story seem childish. It was frustrating to read in those moments to say the least.Overall, as I said in the beginning, I would still recommend this novel. Despite the minor issues, it kept me engaged throughout the story which is not something that happens with a lot of these web novels. I would definitely give it a try and see if you like it!
Currently reviewing at 500 chapters in. I am beyond happy that such novel exists in my life. I’ve read a lot different types of fiction stories and what I believe that separates good from bad, is the quality at which the author describes the story they are trying to convey. Right from the beginning you feel like you are the charcter, you feel like you are immersed on earth where an apocalypse begins. The way the author explains the history of the characters, their goals and most importantly, their thought process is immaculate. The way you can compare the strength of characters to the real world (physics standpoint), the way you can close your eyes and imagine the scenery around the characters, the way you can sympathize with the actions, motives and decisions the characters make is just unreal.I could ramble on about how amazing this novel is, how I wish it was complete, is a waste of your time. You should be reading this book! Of course this is just personal opinion but regardless I hope you give it a try! :)

I picked this up expecting some generic transmigration fluff and instead got hit with a narrative that moves like a freight train wrapped in velvet. Let me break down why the pacing works so well here. Chapter 1 opens IN MEDIA RES with Chen Jue trapped in a nightmare about his own coffin. That's a bold choice—you're dropping the reader into psychological horror before you've even established who this person is. Then he wakes up, and the author takes their time. Three days of him lying on a brick bed, checking his pulse, processing the pregnancy, the transmigration, the new world. This isn't slow pacing; it's deliberate breathing room. The author lets the horror sink in before moving forward. Then Chapter 2 pivots hard into the backstory of Jiang Xinhe's death. The surgery scene is clinical and cold—exactly matching Chen Jue's personality—and the moment the ECG flatlines, the silence in the operating room is so heavy you can feel it. The brother's outburst, the push down the stairs, the death. All of it happens with this breathless speed that mirrors how fast Chen Jue's original life ended. The structure is essentially a loop: nightmare → waking → memory → nightmare → acceptance. Chen Jue starts Chapter 1 trapped in trauma and ends Chapter 2 making a promise to a dead woman. That's a complete emotional arc in two chapters. The author doesn't waste a single scene.
