I love cliffhangers and thrills but from all the cliffhangers here, this one is the one I am most disappointed with. So disappointed. Very disappointed. If I could write the word DISAPPOINTED a thousand times then I would but that's pointless.
It felt slightly fresh in the beginning but got boring very fast after MC got into acadmy.
I wouldn't recommend it to someone who wants to see slightly faster progress in story.
The world building is majectic. It's also very well written. I recommend this novel to people who likes to read action packed novels! Please support this author!

ok I did read few chapters thinking the mistakes author mentioned would be just a few but sorry... the mc is beyond brain dead.
I like abilities, skills even though they are not mentioned properly but I can't imagine an old man with great knowledge having that mentality.

The series started out with a lot of promise. It quickly (within 5 chapters) devolves into the most stereotypical example of a generic xianxia you can imagine, with idiotic enemies inventing nonsensical reasons to come after the MC and acctractive women falling over themselves to give him presents at their first meetings.
The translations are good, but the story is utter garbage.
