The grammar is so bad I just couldnt continue reading. and teh story line is all over the place.
A very intriguing plot, exquisite
Let me just walk through the pacing here because the author is playing 4D chess with structure. Chapter 3 starts with a PUBLIC scene—Liu Guizhen screaming, the whole mining district watching, Shen Yingying being dragged by her hair. Maximum exposure, maximum shame. Then Xie Fangzhu carries her inside and the door SLAMS shut. Instant transition from public spectacle to private tension. We're now alone with them, and the pace shifts from chaotic to slow, deliberate, almost suffocating. Every movement matters. Every word is weighted. He walks to the corner. She sees the pole. Her heart stops. She begs. He pries her fingers off. She kisses him. The pole falls. Then immediately after—the emotional explosion. She breaks down, confesses everything, and then pivots to this desperate declaration about sleeping with him to prove her purity. The chapter doesn't end with resolution. It ends with her unbuttoning her blouse and him being too stunned to respond. That's a cliffhanger that doesn't rely on mystery but on emotional uncertainty. Will he stop her? Will he let her? What happens next? And then Chapter 4 starts with the aftermath of that kiss, his reaction, her manipulation of it. The pacing is relentless but never rushed. Every beat earns its place.
