I read the author’s previous book, soldiers of time and really liked it so I decided to give this one a shot as well. So far I like the MC and his thought process on things like how to grow stronger and over all mentally. So far the side characters haven’t been as developed as his other book but these are only the first chapters. He hasn’t really interacted with his assassination organization where I assume most are of the interesting side characters will be. The MC starts of weak but gets strong enough to where even though he has a disadvantage his wits are enough to get him to the finish line and I like that his wins feel earned. So for it’s been good and I’m looking forward to more!
Make sure to not read this novel when your life is busy as this novel will get you addicted pretty fast. It's great. It's a mixture of Coiling Dragon and Against the Gods in my eyes. Somehow, it has this Coiling Dragon vibe, especially. I really like it. The characters are not shallow but deep and real. You can feel them as you would a real person. MC is very likeable and relatable. Plotarmour isn't OP and cliches aren't that common either. It has very realistic views and the world works out as it would in reality. If you have spare time, this should be a must read.

The entire sentence structure is a mess. I wasn't even able to read through the first paragraph. The author really needs to correct the sentences. I am not trying to be a grammar Nazi. I am simply saying to correct the sentence structure, make it readable please. Add colon's, quotation marks, paragraph breaks etc. The style of writing choosen is 3rd person narrative, but it kinda goes around the curve on most sentences. I am looking forward to see where this goes, if the author cleans up.
