I've read quite a lot of original novel either on Webnovel or royalroadl, and this one really got good prospect.
Without much spoiler we can see there is a feeble and quite stupid MC at first with a mentality that in quite sure a lot of readers won't like, but because of his meeting with that legend and the adventures that follow, the MC experience a growth in a lot of lacking area and become in the end a MC that I'm sure every reader like to follow.
I've read till the latest chapter (111 at review time) and I'm quite surprised at how well done the characters design is, it is extremely rare in original novels to see a flawless design like that
The MC is a cuck and the novel is 95% about ghosts so far. Many actions of the MC pertaining to women are baffling. It's not really a cultivation novel at all except for the power system being "cultivation". I'm sure you understand what I mean if you like cultivation novels. The story and actions all over the place, things just happen randomly, it's a blend of genres that doesn't work. Subpar piece of work with a great concept.
Boring! Yawn inducing!
Basically the game he is playing is divided in two game types: The lord gametype and adventurer. The mc is playing as a lord and what he does is basically building and managing a village. So adventure element was half killed for the boring lord game type which involves "being nice to NPCs" and wasting time talking to NPCs! Most chapters are just the mc giving instructions to NPCs. The interaction with other players is minimal and the pace of the story is slow and every real character is as plane as a board.
And from the look of things the mc can create an army later on in the game which will fight his own battles which I find incredibly silly, the mc even mentions that he doesn't care about leveling up or grinding.
Its an MMORPG! Since the start of time they have been all about leveling up and grinding! and this novel just takes that aspect away. Even Ashuras wrath is better than this thing.
The book started really good at first. The ideas were interesting and engaging at first. However, as the story progresses, I feel the author is becoming too long winded in explaining simple things that won't really matter in the long run. Author also likes to overexplain learning of skills that won't really be useful or meaningful in the future as well. Sadly I have to drop this story after 72 chapters.

i really enjoy the sentence construction, the story development is enjoyable and easy to read. I am excited to read more of this and to find out what is in store[img=exp]
