A great novel so far with many details, though it has quite a bit of info dumps it sets up the background of the world pretty nicely without stopping it's progress for more than 1 or 2 chapters at a time.
So far it has a 'pure' motive behind it, no evil constantly breathing on MC's neck or some kind of revenge, just pure enthusiasm and determination which I like a lot
i love this novel... being a strong bodyguard and assassin.. i just wonder who will end up with Lin Yi....

Very good book. I was looking for a book with an MC who created a gang and I found this absolute gem of a book. The MC's system is not super OP but it does give quite a big edge compared to other people. I personally don't like it when the MC's cheats are too OP because then there wouldn't be much of a story to write. Characters are all properly fleshed out and their personalities are all able to be distinguished easily. The story goes forward quite quickly as well but not so fast that there is no connection formed between us, the readers, and the characters in the book. Writing quality is very good, not many mistakes and the sentences flow smoothly. Any mistakes that are actually there are minimal and can be ignored. So all in all, recommend this book very much

Recently chapters 1-25 have been retranslated so many of the previous complaints in reviews have been addressed. The novel has also returned to 5ch/wk. Having gotten that out of the way:
This is a fun novel to read, it's full of interesting characters and the MC is memorable. It's very reminiscent of Chen Dong novels, with beast companions, anti-hero MCs, along with bits of humor sprinkled throughout the story.
The translation & editing are very good. Leaps & bounds above most other QI novels. The TL team's retranslation of earlier chapters should be commended. They may not be the fastest, but their dedication to this novel is great!
Definitely a hidden gem on webnovel.com that should get more attention!
