This series isn’t a 5-star masterpiece, nor is it a 4.5-star great novel. You won’t find yourself jumping for joy with each new chapter, but I can confidently say that if you give this series a chance—specifically, if you keep reading until you meet Fran, or at least past chapter 12—you’ll likely be pleasantly surprised.
The series is cute, fun, and amusing, with plenty of action and, of course, Fran. For those who don’t know, Fran is the main character’s wielder and the black cat girl you see in the cover image. The plot isn’t groundbreaking, but it’s not non-existent either. It just takes its time unfolding.
So far, this emotional roller coaster ride has left me with mixed feelings about the novel. Although I do enjoy the overall story, the act of reading has become somewhat of a task for me. I can't seem to find the particular element that initially intrigued me within the pages.
The beginning aligns with prior reviews, focusing on the grim reality the main character (MC) faces, and their reactions are understandable given the severity of their situation and the formidable adversary they're up against. The MC is indeed impressive, but their selflessness and humility border on being off-putting – almost nauseatingly virtuous, which is my sole issue, despite their awareness of their hypocrisy. The supporting characters are well-developed and likable, and the harem aspect does appeal.
However, my main concern lies in the lack of romance progression. The MC has reunited with his childhood friend, but it feels拖沓 how slowly the romantic relationship is unfolding. That's why I'm here, after all – for the love story.
I'll hold off on reviewing the book further until there's more development between the MC and the female lead. My rating might change depending on how the plot unfolds.
God d*mn it how h*rny can you be ? He sees her as his kin at first , the novel is pretty good if you want romance go read a romance one
pfp sauce?
Does anyone know what chapters the manhwa covers of the wn
I read up to like 400+ of tapov,at around the time the smallsnake incident happened, and I just gotta say if author doesn't rush things and just keeps going as it is in advent of the 3 calamities, its def gonna be a better novel
You're both kinda wrong and right at the same time, Just solely based on the fact that cultivation exists there should be no difference between male or female, because in ancient times the reason that women were often treated as commodities to be sold off for manage and so on was because they contribute less than men as men have higher physical strenght, but in cultivation society their strenght is based on their aptitudes so there should be absolutely no gender oppression there, because by oppressing a gender you are unknowingly offending half a population of cultivators who can kill with just a slap.
One of my favorite stories. Although the amnesia plot for Li Anan might seem unrealistic, it serves as a巧妙的 device to develop the romantic connection between the main character (MC) and the male lead (ML). Having completed the main storyline and some side content through machine translation, I found it an enjoyable read. The progression of their relationship, with the ML's struggles and the MC's character growth after regaining his memories, was satisfying.
However, I did have some dissatisfaction with Jiang Xu's character. Li Anlan's character is portrayed as rigid and unyielding, not giving people a second chance. Jiang Xu's "mistakes" can be summarized as follows:
1. Despite his friend's advice to avoid his illegitimate father due to the man's family situation, Jiang Xu decided to meet him, unaware of the impact on Li Anlan, who had been abandoned. Given Jiang Xu's own mother's abandonment and lack of support, it's understandable that he might crave familial affection, even if from a flawed source.
2. Jiang Xu asked Li Anlan to manipulate the ML, deceive him, and damage his reputation to his father, hoping to change his father's stance against the ML's sexuality. While these actions were misguided, I don't believe they were unforgivable.
Ultimately, I decided against finishing the additional content or re-reading the translated chapters because Li Anlan's attitude towards Jiang Xu seemed harsh, emphasizing the importance of familial bonds over friendship. This aspect of the story didn't resonate with me as much.
This captivating narrative, "Puppeteer: I Use Human Puppets to Create Perfect Accidents," is a thought-provoking read that delves into the intricate realm of human control and the blurred lines between fate and manipulation. The protagonist's unique ability to orchestrate serendipitous events through seemingly innocent puppets leaves readers on the edge of their seats, pondering the ethics of destiny and the power of choice. The author's storytelling prowess keeps one engaged, weaving a tapestry of suspense and moral dilemmas, making it a compelling addition to any literary collection.
