lovely story teens will surely enjoy
a good read and author updates daily
I love Mason
Personally dont read it now but when it has reach around chapter 800
i do wonder how the author of this work created this story and how long it took him in the starting phase to brainstorm, research, write a rough draft, refine and then decide to push out his work which makes people think he’s writing everything on the fly.
So... I hope this doesn't contain romance
Finally finished it!!!
My only criticism about this novel would be that, the story could have been way better without Gu linglong
I agree with you. While o understand jealousy, adult Blake was a bit too yandere-ish
I wouldn't suggest this book. Initially, I found it enjoyable due to the unique premise – the main character (MC) receives a system that allows him to purchase skills, like instantly mastering foreign languages for 500 points or gaining elite combat abilities for 1000 points. These events occur early on, so it's not a major spoiler.
However, there are significant drawbacks. The story includes unnecessary non-consensual relationship (NTR) elements, poor writing, a one-dimensional MC, and wasted potential of the system. The MC starts by protecting a daughter and gains connections to a mafia figure, eventually becoming a boss and engaging in violent confrontations. While the fight scenes are decent, his ruthless nature, even towards women, is portrayed without being overly offensive.
The major issue arises when he meets Su Yun, a seemingly innocent and sweet girl. The author introduces them as a potential romantic pairing, but suddenly reveals a plot twist where she's been cheating with a manipulative man. This twist feels implausible and ruins the buildup of their relationship. Additionally, the MC's first girlfriend is also portrayed negatively.
The translation quality is average, with occasional poor chapters and dialogue. The MC's lack of motivation and intelligence is another issue. Despite having a powerful cheat system, he focuses solely on becoming a mob boss and打架, accumulating wealth that holds little significance. He could have used his system to revolutionize science and improve humanity but chooses to engage in trivial conflicts.
Furthermore, the MC fails to utilize his system strategically. He saves up points without a plan and only uses them reactively, like when he loses them healing after an attack. He neglects opportunities to gain more points easily, like through public demonstrations or media attention.
In summary, while the concept of the system is intriguing, the execution is marred by unconvincing plot twists, weak character development, and subpar translation. The MC's choices and lack of foresight detract from the overall reading experience.
I've forgotten, but I don't remember it actually being R18... It's been a long time... although there were some gory descriptions... I think
Try finding later chapters by looking on other websites, if it seems like there are more chapters
There no Yuri/Girls love tag. I don't dislike Yuri's but I also don't like them either, I just wanted to read some adventure, I hope the MC won't go lesbian.
