The MC is authentic and feels like a real human. Others (reviewers/commenters) say that this story is one dimensional or the plot feels plain, but that's because it's "slice-of-life" when you aren't expecting it to be. I feel slightly refreshed with this story, many slice-of-life stories with system elements are over-powered JP Protagonists with lots of hype and naïve outlooks or edgy (trying to set trends). Also, I personally like the mild x-nature the author writes. It lets you know what happened without being so explicit to write lemon scenes you find in many fanfictions with unrealistic events.
I also like that the female heroines feel like real heroines. The heroines all have actual stories, backgrounds, and design; there is actual character development; and the their reactions feel satisfying to read. I don't feel it's too much of a stretch or exaggeration, and there is no fake "true love" as the author skirts around with each womans own personal thoughts on what defines what "love" means. Like one woman believes love of a man is him taking responsibility and thinking for the woman while a woman's love is acceptance. And this definition of "love" changes from heroine to heroine.
I also like the protagonist's spending habits. It's part of the "authentic" feeling. The story starts off poor-to-rich, the main character's attempt to spend his new found wealth, realizing that certain "high end" brands are actually just trash and searching for his own definition of quality and spending money with quantity. It's worth noting that it also feels realistic, because this is the same behavior real people have when they win the lottery. I've seen people "waste" inheritances and there are plenty of stories online about people who win the lottery and ends up in debt. The protagonist's spending habits specifically targets his desires and the character development of the protagonist, while some events could be argued to be plot devices, it still totally happens in real life. Even the first heroine's placement into the "harem" and her "obedience" feels normal. I don't even think t's even excessively exaggerated, as when lots of money is involved, people become willing to do things they might tell themselves they wouldn't do normally.
It's too bad only 40 chapters were translated even after 1 year, but I liked this story so much that I went ahead and found it's 386 MTL chapters somewhere else. 我有种植空间
Overall, I recommend checking out this novel. It's medium length story with an urban setting with a harem seeking protagonist with a cheat-like farming space. The story uses the tag KingdomBuilding, but it would be more appropriate to say "Business Management", however, it's more subplot/tag than a genre.
just another 'beast master' story with the exact same plot as the rest of them..............................................................
It's great but could use work on the main character. Loved all of the novel except the main character. He's meant to be some genius mage who is immortal... but he talks like a plain teenager and he doesn't seem very intelligent? He's meant to have the title of Sage but he's not inquisitive? The closest to wanting to learn new things he gets is just being interested in cultivation. Which, that part of him being interested in cultivation seems quite forced. It should be more smooth and gradually interested in cultivation. Instead, he's foregoing all magic immediately to learn about something he read in a book once pretty much.
Real Score: 2/5 (Fix your scoring Webnovel)
"I think I would prefer actual oblivion to this afterlife.)
First I'd like to say that this story does seem to have some cool concepts. Setting the story in the actual afterlife is probably the most unique concept for a Isekai story that seem so obvious in retrospect.
Like how have we not done this sooner.
Anyway, they also flip the OP Power/Gift on its head but having the MC sell it for cash "Because it can't be too hard to level up right?" Not realizing that most people can't get past level 10 or 15. And the gift would have put him around level 30. That was actually funny, and a good way to have your cake and eat it too. And even if the afterlife shtick is only aesthetic it's cool to see. And its character driven, so points there.
But that's about it. Now for negativity.
Honestly, this is just Another, "get stronger to happy ending cultivation story." Just with an RPG level system, (which is overplayed by this point) and a Spooooky esthetic. The MC doesn't even meet historical figures, or dead friends and family. COME ON! It was right there.
It's just so hard to love something when it trades everything that could be considered unique or interesting for generic fluff. It's hard to stay invested.
And Yes I'm told that it "Gets Good" because all cultivation story's "Get Good." But you people know that that isn't a point in its favor, Right? Stick your leg in some acid and after a couple hours, yes you won't be in pain, yes. But taking the next step in your personal journey will be a bit difficult, won't it?!
How about we try this!
Why don't we write stories that are good all the way through rather than only 1% well written while swimming in a sea of 99% blandness.
Haven't actually read it, but I'm gonna give it 5 stars anyway******************************************************************************

This novel is steady and well paced not like other trash novels with fillers. It definitely has the potential to become a 1000 chapter novel.please don't let it be buried. There are already countless fillers.
Rating it 3 for now.
As my main purpose is to leave a mark behind.
