Is this good?
Damn at first I thought it was gonna be a fun little story but then it all of a sudden became so deep.
This novel introduced me to the quick transmigation genre. If you don't mind yaoi (and there's quite a lot of it), give it a read
Tbh, dont read this novel when u r in a serious mood. Lmao. Its a real fcking mess. Read this when u r tired af and needing some "refreshment".
For the vast majority of authors in China, they get paid based on each word written. So, what happens is after the first 100 or so chapters they get recognized and sign some publishing deal that doesn't pay the bills unless they add a bunch of useless, pedantic b*llsh*t.
Sad, really. Then again, you and I read for free so it's not like we have any ground to stand on for our complaints.
The book falls between a 3.5 to 3.7 rating for me, but it's not a 3.3, considering I've read much worse with higher ratings. The premise is intriguing, but it could have been executed better. The pacing is incredibly rapid, lacking depth or struggle, and it's essentially a straightforward, predictable romance. With these kind of Mary Sue novels, you're aware of what to expect.
I actually quite enjoy the male lead, though his affection for the main character feels somewhat forced. There isn't a strong reason provided beyond the plot requirements, but I find him endearing regardless. I believe a more skilled author could have significantly improved the story's development.
It's difficult to pinpoint whether it's the translation or the original writing that's the issue, but the prose is abysmal. It relies heavily on telling instead of showing, which is a common criticism from English teachers. This style isn't something I necessarily厌恶, but when I'm seeking a more serious read, it becomes unbearable. This particular book stands out as exceptionally poor in this regard, falling short among others I've encountered.
This novel boasts an extraordinary storyline that keeps me on the edge with its well-developed characters, who exhibit both intelligence and strength, making every chapter thrilling. Initially, I had doubts about the "enemy to lovers" trope, fearing it might become monotonous, but my expectations were exceeded; the narrative is actually quite exhilarating. Although some aspects were predictable in the early chapters, the plot unexpectedly veers off, leaving a satisfying conclusion.
The first 150 chapters are exceptional, filled with intrigue, excitement, and a touch of predictability – I enjoyed following the progression, despite knowing certain outcomes. However, as the story moves towards what I initially believed to be the climax, it shifts its focus more keenly onto the central couple's love story.
In summary, the plot is commendable, the characters are decent, and the main couple ranks among my favorites – they truly shine. This novel offers a delightful blend of interest, romance, and a solid plot, making it a worthwhile recommendation for readers. While it may not be groundbreaking literature, it certainly provides an entertaining read.

Seems to be missing chapters 423-445. The chapter 423 is actually 446. There are also several half missing chapters here and there. I would suggest reading on another site until it is fixed so you don’t miss anything or spoil something.
Any updates pls
