Any more chapters coming with this story?
Let me clarify right away: before diving in, please ignore any potential loopholes, as analyzing them could lead to excessive scrutiny of the main character's decisions. The story stands stronger when judged against the character, and yes, it might not be entirely original. However, that very uniqueness - the depth found in its exploration of the isekai or reincarnation theme - is what captivates readers. This particular narrative distinguishes itself from others by the comparisons it draws between the protagonist and their alternate reality experiences.
I thoroughly enjoyed the story, as it featured a highly skilled female protagonist, which made it quite engaging. The male lead (ML) was intriguing as well, with his unpredictable actions adding a delightful twist. The narrative offered a diverse range of elements, such as acting, management, romantic scenes, and family reconciliation, all within a concise framework.
The supporting characters were captivating, and their development was evident throughout the story, despite its brevity, which was quite impressive. Both the ML and female main character (FM) experienced growth, with the ML becoming more confident and expressive, while the FL found healing from her past trauma alongside him.
While I didn't give it a full 5-star rating, it's not because the novel is of poor quality; rather, it falls short when compared to other works like ToCF, LoM, and ORPOV, which are longer and offer more depth. The main limitation was the story's brevity, preventing the author from delving fully into all their creative ideas. This left me wanting more, but the story was still enjoyable and free of excessive drama, with conflicts resolved relatively quickly.
I highly recommend giving this story a read, as it has many appealing aspects, cute character interactions, and a light-hearted approach. It may not be as extensive as some others, but it's definitely worth your time.
Are the side characters retarded, or well made tho? And by side characters I mean every side characters. Not just the people next to the mc.
Where chapter should I start reading? I read the webtoon and stop chap 142
Hahaha! Remind me sometime after I finish the novel to come back here to drop the stuff I have in my library. I'm just too hooked in this book rn to care about anything else ?
the ruthless mc tag is quite misleading. mc suffered many times due to him sparring the so-called innocents while they put on a weak front only to get backstabbed later on.
and he keeps doing it.
Who does our mc ends up with or there are multiple of love interest if the latter one i don't think I will read it
This is a typical example of a Mary Sue story that other Mary Sue narratives often critique. The protagonist is highly overpowered, turning every investment into massive profits while simultaneously rebuffing her family, ex-fiance, or original love interest. However, the most bewildering aspect is the inexplicable reason why the male lead (ML) falls for her. Despite being a wealthy CEO and secretly the heir to a major corporation, he claims to be poor to align with her preferences – which seems illogical for a supposedly intelligent character.
The protagonist's actions often defy logic, as though she's restricted by some sort of system or mission, but she consistently goes against these constraints, without facing consequences from the supposed plot device. The presence of the system feels entirely contrived and serves no meaningful purpose in the narrative.
I'm pretty sure this novel is inspired by warlock of the magus world but idk how good is it, is it as good or no and can someone tell me if the mc is super op like no one even come close or he struggles like any other mc, because I remember that I read 30ish chapters before and he's pretty broken so idk if he will meet his match when he grows stronger??? because I just read infinite mana in the apocalypse and the mc is too broken and i don't like that
What a trip, didn't expect to see this here. I've been reading this for years now. It's a great Western xianxia, not translated so a lot of the tropes are different. The protagonist is OP, but it trends towards slice of life, where the MC replaces a villain template and then just kinda does their own thing.
I'd recommend it, but again it's pretty stylistically different from most translated xianxias, so expect it to feel different in ways that are difficult to put your finger on.
this is a very good novel but for 2 years or so the author has stopped updating for some reason. I like it and thus kept it in my library and thus now know about the 2 new chapters uploaded. U should read it as it is very good. Although there are 1 or 2 R-18 scenes overall the novels fab.
