Ah, if Xiao Xun had indeed been the innocent, virtuous character as opposed to the cunning, self-proclaimed villainess, this tale would have unfolded as an epic tragedy filled with heartache and melodrama. Imagine being subjected to bullying, intimidation, betrayal, manipulation, assault, abuse, even self-harm, and facing a life-threatening illness – all for what seemed like a cruel plot twist. Fortunately, it turned out to be part of her master plan, huh? Though there were a few plot holes and inconsistencies, they didn't significantly mar the overall experience. It was fascinating to watch the protagonist skillfully navigate and maintain control over her harem, always one step ahead. Her acting prowess was truly extraordinary, bringing a breath of fresh air to the genre. The ending, though somewhat unsatisfactory, still left me with a personal favorite – Arc 3.
