TL;DR: Good translation, good plot but the novel is dropped by the author. All 4.5 stars are for the effort of the translator ?I've read a few Chinese web novels on outer space exploration and I've been a fan of them despite not knowing deep enough about this pseudoscience. This and The Temptess of Stellar War had very interesting plotline and makes you keep on reading non-stop. The translation quality is very good and the translator is very responsive to any mistake and suggestion given by readers. SPOILER!!!However, I wonder if @Lonelytree has read the novel till the end? Why again is this novel recommended to be translated in the first place?! I pity the translator as he/she had mentioned several times that s/he not really liking this story.The ending feels like it have been dropped half way, not the kind of open-ended, but like I-give-up-let's-end-it ending. The book ended like Titanic, but worse - some random granpa retelling stories of "this is how humanity is save". It's a freaking story time and the story ends at the climax of the arc! It mentions the final boss - the ultimate villain of outer space human civilization in the future (mad scientists - during human's 8 level civilization) and the worst nightmare of all civilization (the devils) but the story is far from end. It keeps on hinting about the aliens and the UFO being a God civilization, MC is The Immortal, the devils, the evil elitists that vie for power, and the possibility of the MC to be resurrected... for it to end when they're just nearing the 4th civilization! For what?!!I thought it has a 2nd book, but to my disappointment, the whole last arc had only 4-5 chapters and had not been updated since 2013. Even the Chinese community still ranting about this unpleasant end.
I like this one but this would have been better if there is system, and some face slapping. but overall it's fun to read. and there in few chapter to read. please update author.
This was the first novel I read and I absolutely love it. It was so addicting that I read during breaks at work and then nonstop when I got home. I would advise any new reader to start with this one as its completed and has a great story. The only thing I find disappointing is I heard this was going be for sale and I haven't any updates since then and I would've loved to purchase it.
I swear im not biased cuz i know the guy... its a genuinely good story :)Keep writing author san! I would definitely give this novel a try if you sick of the stereotypical fantasy world tropes. Although it doesn't take anything away from a good fantasy story, it gives off a lot more mature and realistic approach to the world of magic, that i haven't quite seen before.
Lol the author is pretty much ignoring that has to do with stats and levels after tier 2...barely any stats are shown if ever and now at 699 even the stats of sss sword arent shown since we dont know the levels and stats of the characters either..it has become a cultivation novel with just mentioning the tiers...kinda disappointing for a system apocalypse. Also it seems system will be made into a villain in future..which is just sad..i had such high hopes when i started reading..at least the story seems interesting enough to continue i guess

Seems pretty good so far. hopefully it continues after the writing contest is over but i can understand if its dropped considering your still working on your other book As wellPs: make sure to take plenty of breaks in between writing. i would hate to see you burn out or start to fell stressed like some other authors have. Its not just one more fantasy story. Besides being very creative, its Funny, smart, gripping and entertaining! Just loved it! Highly recommend!
This is such an interesting story, honestly! Unique than the usual stories I have reviewed in WN. Just work on the dialogues a lil bit more instead of just summarizing what happen in the description. This book has so much potential. Thanks author!
