I don't hate this novel, but chapter 338 is very weird, like actually pretty weird. It's about '4 African young men' and how they were harassing 2 girls, a member of the crowd says 'This is China. This isn’t a place for your indecency' like what? Another 'blocked the attacks of the Africans' I have no idea why them being African is being mentioned so much, another 'He smiled, revealing his white teeth' ok? afterwards the crowd celebrates when the Africans leave injured, idk something about this chapter is just very weird
Translation quality and stability and all that stuff is good as usual, but the story itself is terrible. Plot development isn't anything special, pretty repetitive imo. Worst part is the characters don't feel like people, I don't think I've read a LN where so much illogical stuff happens, I know its a Ln and its not meant to be realistic but this is cringe to the point where i pity the translators who were unlucky enough to translate this..some examples (may be spoiler)- Picks up peerless beauty from streets for 10 silver - idk man makes sense- When he moves to inner sect, of the 3 most beautiful girls, 2 are his neighbour and the other one lives with him...- That girl he picks up on the streets yeah, she's 150% devoted to mc... like wtfff she retarded or something???Overall - pretty bad, pretty generic, nothing special, like a downgraded version of MGA or AST.Don't read unless you've read everything else, probably will make u disappointed. Definitely not worth your time
I usually dont write reviews but I had to on this one. The oncept of this story is nice it could be further enhanced by better storytelling and if the author didnt keep forgetting what he wrote in the last chapter. There was so much potential in this story but its been destroyed because each and every single character has IQ less than a toddler and each villain has arrogance that knows no bounds that is completely baseless. And again author just keeps forgetting what he wrote.(P.S. I had to write this twice to explain how much I hated this fault of the author). All in all I tried my best to read this but couldnt cross chapter 412.
Interesting beginning
This book is giving Cinderella vibes, I love love love it. I can't even imagine how Mildred is holding up to be mistaken and still acting as Ximena.
i am a HUGE fan of this series. it's an onion that keeps peeling back yummy layers. can't wait for more
