It's always hard to rewrite anything with new ideas but you mad lad did.
This time the character looks like having some essence, a desire for revenge, to fulfill his dreams. Doesn't looks like a Beta mc, has a cat as per, is on the dark side and we got lemons hehe ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), what's more than that you want??
Yes it's only been 7 chaps but that enough has made a statement that we could expect more from the author.

Stop fake reviewing guys. This novel is semi-decent though the quality is rough at parts but only because of the author's inexperience. Somehow there's no sense of politics at all since the author believes that everything follows a certain military guy's orders when everything is decided by senates and councils etc. Its very unrealistic when coming to that and how the public reaction would actually be in said scenario. For a first time novel its great but author do some research as you seem to be twisting the earth to fit the MC's situation. Characters are one-dimensional too.
I'm up to chapter 30 right now. The novel is generic, as if any other person were to reincarnate as a novel-type scenario. But the writing quality is irritating, and I don't mean the grammar; rather, the manner the author writes the story is irksome; I can't count how many times the protagonist breaches the fourth wall, which makes me cringe at times, and there are simply too many info dumps.
Everything about this story is great.... aside from the plot with the mother. Even after 1200+ chapters the situation with the mother hasn't changed. He still hates her as much as he did in the beginning, all the while the mother and grandfather act as if she didn't abandon the MC for years on end multiple times.
She only appears maybe once or twice every few hundred chapters and it's the same interaction between the MC and her. Every. Single. Time.
She shows up, mc is still angry at her and doesn't spare her a second glance, then she butts into to just about every conversation the MC has not realizing that the MC is ignoring her. It's getting old.
This is a superb novel that defies the cliches of predictable plots and lackluster protagonists who refuse to make sacrifices for their goals. Instead, it features a captivating evil main character with a clear goal. Although the pacing may be a tad sluggish at times, the world-building is exceptionally rich and detailed. Overall, a remarkable read that provides a fresh take on the fantasy genre.
