At the beginning, I truly hate Huo Ci character so much. He is too violent and hot-headed. It's shocking for me that her daughter can forgive him after his violent outburst during his birthday. Overall the romance between main couple is still good. Third Master Jun was just truly shameless in capturing in law's heart. Also, there's too much going on involving parallel world in the end, very confusing. I just got bored after 900+ chapter.

I have mansion in post apocalyptic world is great, but the mc got harem and pretty much h*rny as downside.
Supremacy games is great it is mixed with superpower tho and human here pretty much being underdog, there is a tempest of stellar war for pure sci-fi which is good enough as well a mech touch, beware mech touch is pretty heavy novel to read with very long dialogue and description format.
I also can reccomend another 2 that have spaceship with many variety civilization in space but sadly got mixed with cultivation too, they would be Star odyssey and forty millenium of cultivation, both Chinese but for latter they will go through certain amount of time on home planet first before embarking on interstellar journey.

I genuinely appreciate historical background and face-slapping scenes, and there's a fair amount of those in this story, which contributes to my liking. However, I must admit, I didn't particularly enjoy the cliché dynamic between the main character (MC) and the leading love interest (ML). The concept of step or switched siblings as a romantic plotline isn't something that appeals to me personally. Despite having no issues with "incest" in general in fiction, it doesn't resonate well with this particular storyline.
Additionally, the sexual content when they're together doesn't align with my preferences. Although there's some explicit scenes, it just doesn't sit well with me when they're unexpectedly incorporated into these types of novels.
In fact, aside from the romance aspect, I find the rest of the historical backdrop and elements to be quite enjoyable, and they cater to what I generally like in such stories.

The last 3 or 4 years or so, Mars works for like a month and a half out of the entire year, around November and December. If he actually worked normally in those years, the series is probably finshed over a year ago.
And, he almost never says anything on his discord about why, or how long each hiatus will be, etc. At this point, I wish he'd just have someone ghostwrite for him, and he just tells that person the big things that need to be hit.
