Let's talk about Huo Zhixing for a second because this man is a WHOLE MOOD and I am here for it. So he wakes up after three years of bad sleep, sees Su Jiuyue passed out in his bed, and his first instinct isn't to throw her out or be cold—it's to gently massage her injured ankle. GENTLY. This is a man who gives off 'murderous chill' energy and he's massaging someone's bruised ankle like he's handling fine porcelain. And then—the underwear shopping scene. OH MY GOD. He goes to the supply and marketing cooperative ALONE, in nearly thirty years of life, and buys women's clothes including UNDERWEAR. He sneaks them into his wardrobe like a thief. The author writes: 'After glancing once more at the naked woman sleeping peacefully on the bed, he locked the bedroom door and personally made a trip.' This man is trying SO HARD to be normal and it's adorable. The mini theater where he describes the bra size to the clerk with a straight face—'About this big. Big enough that one hand can't quite hold it. Soft to the touch.' The clerk calls him a hooligan and he's just standing there confused. I CANNOT. But what really got me is this line he says later: 'Next time, just hide in my arms. Don't dirty your own hands. I'm afraid you'll hurt them... I'll deal with it.' This man has gone from 'beast taming' to full-on protective boyfriend in like twelve chapters. The relationship arc is moving FAST but somehow it doesn't feel rushed because every beat is earned through action, not just words.
The altitude sickness scene is genuinely tense. Not because it's life-or-death in a dramatic action-movie way, but because it's so realistically portrayed. The author doesn't sensationalize it — they just show Lin Mo's body failing her step by step. 'Her fingertips grew cold. A crushing weight settled inside her chest.' She thinks she's just tired, just out of shape, nothing serious. That denial is so real. People do that when they're in danger — they minimize it until they can't anymore. And then 'Her legs gave out instantly. Darkness swallowed everything.' One moment she's walking, the next she's on the ground. The stakes here are real because the author makes you believe that this could actually happen. But what's even more interesting is the emotional stakes that get raised alongside the physical ones. Lin Mo is running from something — she came all this way alone, she's carrying a sketchbook and camera like they're the only things she needs, she's trying to find inspiration but she's clearly running from whatever's waiting for her back home. Danzeng finding her and refusing to let her leave isn't just about altitude sickness — it's about someone seeing through her deflections. 'You left before fully recovering. Feeling better doesn't mean you're safe.' That line works on two levels. The external conflict (will she survive the altitude?) is resolved quickly, but the internal conflict (will she let someone help her?) is just beginning. And that's where the real tension lives.
Okay, I need to talk about the very first scene because honestly it set the entire tone for me. An Juexiao walking into this century-old mansion and finding Gu Zhanran on the balcony—this is peak cinematic writing. The author didn't just describe a room, they painted a moment. The floor-to-ceiling windows, the gentle breeze lifting white curtains, the warm morning sunlight outlining his figure in a beautiful glow. I literally stopped reading and just stared at my screen for a second because this reads like a film director's shot list. 'The warm morning sunlight fell upon him, outlining him in a beautiful glow'—this is the kind of line that makes you feel like you're watching a scene, not reading prose. And then he turns around and extends his hand like they already know each other. The whole atmosphere is this perfect mix of elegance and something unspoken, like the setting itself is holding its breath. What I love most is how the environment mirrors the mood. This old mansion with its refined details, the ethereal curtains, the sunlight—it all feels like a world that exists in its own bubble, separate from the messy, hungry, struggling reality An Juexiao comes from. The contrast between her cluttered apartment and this almost dreamlike mansion is so sharp you can feel it. Even the food scene later with the steak and the dining setup shows how meticulously the author builds these spaces. Every location feels intentional, like it was designed to make you feel something specific. That balcony moment is the one I keep coming back to though. It's the visual anchor of the whole chapter.
Okay so I need to talk about this dynamic because it is genuinely one of the best things I have read in a long time. Yan Xingli and Qi Youyu are not related by blood but the way they bounce off each other feels so natural it hurts. He pretends to be annoyed by her all the time—calling her a pig, threatening to make her do laundry, rolling his eyes at her nonsense—but every single action proves the opposite. He scoops her up in the rain, covers her with his coat, lets her drag him through a morning market like a food tour guide. And she? She is absolutely ruthless with him. She spills his secrets on live TV without blinking, calls him a sheep, and then later tries to bribe him with a hundred-yuan bill so people will be nice to him at work. The scene where she hands him that money and whispers "hide it in your pocket" is peak child energy and I cannot stop thinking about it. Then there is Xiao Hua. This robot is basically the third wheel in the best possible way. Yan Xingli tries to manipulate it into hanging up his laundry by weaponizing "respect for the elderly" and honestly? It works. The robot just stands there processing human language traps while he smirks like a villain. But here is the thing that got me—Xiao Hua says it has no obligation to hang his clothes, yet it still does it. That is not programming, that is choice. And Yan Xingli knows it. He just keeps pushing because he has figured out that these people around him, robot or not, will stay. The whole uncle-niece relationship has this weird asymmetry where she knows way more than she lets on. She calls him a sheep, she knows about his acting career, she gives him life advice disguised as childish nonsense. Meanwhile he thinks he is the adult in charge but he is clearly the one being guided. I love it. I love it so much.

Well, after 120 chapters I finally decided to write a review, I don't have anything special to say except that the first ten chapters are really garbage and if I had a chance, I would re-write them again, but unfortunately I can't, apart from that, I think the novel is not bad and can be considered at average level and acceptable, cough cough, anyway if you have any questions please ask
a review would be nice guys or comments per chapter ? or should i stick to reading mahnwa? ? but i felt like i should finish what i started.. i still have 3 chapters left that i have to edit. but oh.. my wifi would be cut later at midnight.. what should i do? ?? should i upload it all.. or keep it until my wifi came on.. i dont know when will i able to pay it.. maybe if you give me some review even saying my story is crappy and some love and encourage me, i'll pay my wifi immediately. then upload the 3 chapters simultaneously. oh well.. what to do.. ??
A novel with a really good start, it's fast pacd and filled with funny monologues. hope the author doesn't drop it.
We all love necromancy.I love it too, thanks to Solo Leveling. Novels with necromancy have always been one my favorites, and I even wanted to add some necromancy to my own novel.Although there are only four chapters so far, the writing is solid, with no grammatical mistakes or inconsistencies. The author has managed to bring out the personalities of multiple characters within just four chapters, which definitely requires skill.A good novel! highly recommended to everyone!
Your novel has potential, though I only read till 7 chapters for now, I hope you can upload more soon, I would definitely recommend it to anyone.....
