I read 140 or so chapters, and I eventually couldn't take the stereotypical cultivation novel with childish cringe interactions. I thought from the first chapter it would be a lot funnier at least to make the other negatives manageable, but it really isn't funny.
I have read till the latest chapter (258) and am quite amazed at the quality of this novel. A cheesy name doesn't inspire high expectations but consider that subverted for once ^^

The 'thug' thing doesn't come into play often enough to matter. Just think of it as a "Debut or Die" clone, but imo better than the original.
The plot, dialogue, main characters, side characters, character development, power system, fan interaction, etc. are all better than DoD.
Someone saw that novel and said "I think I can do it better", and gave it their own spin.
Finished the Manhwa up to the latest & decided to read, currently chapter 501.
People might say it's repetitive which is partly true but at some point you just turn off your brain & enjoy the ride. I still get the excitement of guessing how Boss Pei & his Employees outwit each other with diff goals in mind. It's satisfying to see his "perfect plans" get stumped by a curveball out of nowhere or his honest directions always getting misinterpreted by the employees. It's also hilarious when he gets backstabbed by employees which he thought were reliable to incur loss in the most unexpected way. The system also introduces interesting concepts later on & I'm 'thrilled' to see what development is gonna happen next.. Like if you're also at the Thriller Hostel part (・∀・)
