A great read even if the way the character's power progression is quite unique for a cultivation novel. However, it's ruined by the translator or the editor(?), idk which one of u guys but the repeated paragraphs and even entire chunks of text missing from some chapters ruins this novel for most of us. If i remember it right this story is full of NTR or cheating or rape which i didn't like even though the story and character is actually good i just don't like those kind of things because i imagine if, if!!! I even have a girlfrien or lover and i am being done like that i could imagine i want to kill Kiba then just waste my life, yes maybe you will say i am weak or it's my own fault that she cheated.But if i remember it right in one of the chapter, Kiba forcefully raped a wife who is very satisfied with her husband then make the husband watch it to plany seeds of suspicion then Kiba drugged him make a woman make out with the husband while he can't do anything and make the wife watch this and say he cheated on her which at the end make her want to cheat on him too.

this story is honestly weird... a dude gets a system that allows him to bring whatever technology he wants to the past in order to help his country, Commonwealth or Poland, to become a world power. The author is clearly patriotic towards his country, and keeps saying how living in modern times is worst than in the past. I honestly don't understand how he keeps this reasoning. He talks as if the world stole everything from Poland and that modern society is inferior or wathever he cooks up. He's even weirdly patriotic to a supposed country that collapsed about 200 centuries ago. He keeps saying that modern people have lost all morals and that people in the past were more honest.
Did the blurb really excite me? No, both the title and blurb are captivating. I mean; who does not want to know what's going on in this book? Nice story author.

I keep coming back to the atmosphere of this scene because even though the author barely describes the physical setting, you can FEEL the tension in every sentence. It's like the room itself is holding its breath. These two are having what should be an intimate conversation—about marriage, desire, betrayal, possibly a child—and yet the emotional distance between them is wider than ever. The Zhen Huan reference gave me chills honestly. Comparing Yu Yue's situation to being suspected of having an affair with Physician Wen is such a specific cultural touchstone. It immediately paints a picture of a woman whose innocence is questioned not by evidence but by suspicion, and whose relief at being cleared feels hollow because it doesn't prove anything. That single allusion does so much worldbuilding—it tells us these characters move in circles where reputation matters, where gossip travels fast, where a woman's virtue is always under scrutiny. The Fu family's status and influence reinforce this. We're not in a casual, modern-everyday setting. This is a world of power dynamics and social maneuvering. But the most vivid imagery is internal, not environmental. That moment when Yu Yue thinks about the three years of widow-like marriage and how she didn't know how exhilarating certain things could be before—this is where the scene truly comes alive. You can almost see her in that moment, alone at night, remembering something physical and real, contrasting it against three years of emotional starvation. The author doesn't need to describe the room they're sitting in because the real scene is happening inside Yu Yue's head, and it's devastating. The contrast between the cold, controlled exterior conversation and the hot, chaotic interior life is what makes this passage so cinematic.
