Giving 4.5 stars for the well-rounded characters, plot, setting and beautiful imagery. MCs have sad backstories. Alina's innocence, Jason's pain and the mermaid's search for stable life and their traumas are relatable. I really loved reading so far and looking forward to more.

this is the only story that I really do not want ML and FL to be together. ML is arrogant and egoistic. even his feeling of guilt is meaningless.
Good book but need ending, it’s been so long since the last update, looks like the author don’t want to do the end of this book… so frustrating !!
