After looking back at the novel I feel thrilled about this experience. The writing is top-notch, at least to my taste and I loved how the scenes were depicted, although I was shocked by some of them. I am looking forward to its further development. The main character does what he considers right and the "system" doesn't affect his own thinking or ensnaring him like a snake (at least for now). I couldn't take my eyes off it. Of course, I didn't expect a family-friendly story, but this was incredible.
I found one or two words that were mistaken for something else, but all in all, it's awesome and also rich in vocabulary. Keep up with the story and absolutely don't drop this gem, author.

i started to regret reading this novel..its fun from the start "building a 9 story padogy only to destroy halfway" what a fucking heartless MC..how many girls the author need to break until hes satified whith his ego?lol... u can just type "im gay,NO girls for me"... you dont need to explain how he mince a girls hurt to pieces..NO shet man..... its getting boring...

Those 2 of 3 stars translation quality only goes to the editor since the grammar actually better than most novels on this site. As for "translator", seriously? You don't even translate Sanshu directly for readability? English readablity? Do you mean it's weird in Chinese? Because it's actually more confusing in english if you left it like that. So if there are actually 9 uncles you want us to remember Dashu, Ershu, Sanshu, Sishu and so on. And then Bobo, Dabo, Erbo, Sanbo, Sishu and so on. I'm fine with something like Xiantian, Houtian, Jianghu left as pinyin, but for something translate able like mere title is just confusing.
Is this your way of "spreading culture"? By ****** it hard for new readers to follow the story and mistook title as character's name? Imagine what would happened if Three Kingdoms translated like this, keeping up with 2 names already hard enough for new readers.
Do you want to say chinese culture is only about the language? If you want to ask us to remember all those pinyins to understand your culture then why don't you say to our face "learn mandarin and read this yourself".
Finally a cultivation novel with no dumb cliches lets goooo
This was the first light novel that I've read and I can say for certain that the story development is fantastic in my opinion, every chapter made me want to read it even more and the pacing is perfect not too slow but not that quick, the story made me have a whole different perspective on life including how to handle relationships and to not take it too slow but on the pace they wanted, this story truly made me appreciate novels, it truly made me happy for the first time and I enjoyed it, I only heard of this because the anime was coming out so I wanted a head start on the manga but there weren't any chapters left so I read the novel instead and I don't regret reading it. I'm truly delighted by this novel. Thank you so much Ghost Mikawa for this incredible story and to the illustrator and translator , I'm thankful for all your hard work

I had a lot of fun reading the first 15 chapters(will make a new review once there are more).
For starter’s the mc isn’t an edge lord or psychopath freak, just a smart and collected guy who likes the charm stat. Mc finally doesn’t use a cliche weapon and is also to look cool doing it.
for world background and carachter design, it could be better , with more descriptions and depth, but just the Mc makes the story worthwhile.
5 stars!.
