Really fun read with enjoyable characters. The story is also really compelling with a bit of a twist on the typical transmigration trope.
I have mixed feelings about the writing, I am on ch 9 and I don't think I understand half of everything I read, because although it looks like good grammar it is deceptively bad, it's structured weird and mistakes are in places where if you read out loud its just wrong, I can't gloss over mistakes in writing, I'm not that kind of reader, the dialogue and quips mc says most of the time I have to read 6 times over to make sure I understood what he was saying, but other than that every character I've seen has a distinct personality, the world although not told in much detail, is very big, and things seem to be happening though I don't understand it
Author here, just want to leave some note here in memory of my cat. This year have been a terrible year for me, and it became worse with my cat walked away from home, I think she will never come back.
My cat is already 17 years old. I had made a terrible mistake to left the door open unattended and she got out. Cats know when it's time. Unlike human, they are not scared of it but they prefer to pass away in peace and calm, that's why they go out when they are old and never come back.
Her name is Princesse, a french word for princess. She wasn't with us originally but was with our neighbor. One day they moved out and couldn't keep her, that's how she comes to us. She was already 15 years old back then.
I wasn't that willing at first because she was old and the feeling of losing a companion pet is too terrible, I don't want my girlfriend to experience it, at least not so soon.
But then she slowly grew inside us. She wasn't the sweetest cat nor the most playful nor the most beautiful. But in our heart she held a special place no other cat have.
We feel terrible, I held my tear because I don't want my girlfriend to depress and heart shattered even more. But I cried in the shower. The feeling of losing a close one is truly terrible.
She left without even saying goodbye. It wasn't fair for us.
This novel is started with a part of inspiration from Princesse. I hold this novel dear and will continue to the day it finished. For Princesse and all of our future cat. Maybe she didn't pass away, just broke through the next realm in their quest to the peak of power.

Author forgot that he is writing about innkeeper and not about urban cultivation. And what's with the millions of cultivators on earth and people are just unaware about them. To put that into perspective, there are less than 10 million doctors in the world. There are many other plot holes to discuss but I rather spend that time on finding better written stories.
In conclusion, author derailed from a very interesting plot to a mediocre plot which is full of holes
