I read the initial chap! Too intense! The argument of a Husband trying to become great from the past.Gran Arcana! I like how this story starts! Looking forward for more! Good Job Author!
Great story too bad the translations become almost unbearable after chapter 50
First 9 chapters are nearly unbearable due to the absolutely moronic behavior from every character shown such as:-Dude has super rare ability of map/strategize evolution routes but doing so consumes his evo potential... so he proceeds to spend about 1/3 of his points before saying, "Wait, I can't use any of those paths/combinations since I don't have to genes."-Dispite all the technology and progress in humanity, the people in charge of assigning 'trash' fates to the BILLIONS of people do so in person... at their dinner tables... through holographic calls.... Who would even EAT AT A DINNER TABLE in the future so why wait for that instead of email/messenger type communications or just having the bloody schools had out the info at their computer desk... like what??-Advance space faring civilization, believes a student cheated on test so the classroom of CHILDREN with their teacher proceed to go over his questions that the holographic quantum computer graded as correct as if they people who NEEDED to prove their intellengce and correct an ai.-Story constantly states that higher evolution equates to light speed thought process and even more accurate memory functions, everyone assumes its possible for a barely super human [0.4] to vastly outpace a 2.2 super human in the test like it makes more sense than other options so they redicule/threaten/prevent said student from gene test.
this novel is so dead so boringI can't read it anymore I tried telling myself something is better then nothing but this novel is so so bad.
This book is a good timepass. The plot isn't complicated and very one dimensional. I'm not sure how the author wants to portray the world and MC as; however, as far as the theme "rags to riches" is concerned, the author does a great job in portraying how an ordinary man would would curate his choices if presented and inserted in similar scenarios. As of chapter 25, MC is a skirt-chaser who believes that he wouldn't able to live a monogamous life, and is everything an ordinary man is, but with money to fulfill all his dark desires. Though he isn't very likeable, he is honest (in his portrayal of the character). The intricacies and character traits are placed in such a way that he truly believes in everything he does to be justified; even his indulging in sexual harrasment and prostitutes/friends-with-benefits. Caveat lector: This book, in my humble opinion, is written well, with reasonable plot points, with the protagonist skewed heavily on the grey side of morality. Readers can expect the plot progression towards a life of justified decadence, ultimately leading towards the downfall of the protagonist. Or follow the trend and magically defy what is expected and succeed in his stilt-viewed utopia.
SILKWORM BABY FOR THE WIN!! SILKWORM BABY FOR THE WIN!! SILKWORM BABY FOR THE WIN!! SILKWORM BABY FOR THE WIN!! SILKWORM BABY FOR THE WIN!! SILKWORM BABY FOR THE WIN!! SILKWORM BABY FOR THE WIN!! SILKWORM BABY FOR THE WIN!!
Daily Life of the Immortal King is a unique and engaging novel in several respects. While set in a world where technology and cultivation work hand-in-hand, its modern-day setting is something that readers can relate to. At the same time, it’s replete with popular culture references and memes and buzzwords that are like Easter Eggs to delight anyone who recognizes them. But the more you read, the more you’ll realise how the novel stands on its merits. It starts off as a slice-of-life that evolves into a quick-paced plot as more and more characters are introduced and the protagonist becomes unwittingly and reluctantly drawn in.Also, by now you can probably tell that this novel is just ridiculously funny. You will giggle at some of the in-jokes, and laugh out loud at some of the absurd plot twists. It touches on familiar, popular trends like live-streaming and online gaming, and use them to amusing effect in this novel. The super MC himself is hilarious in how he tries to live a low-key life and keep his powers under wra**. But circumstances and other characters conspire against him. And the cast of characters are a real mixed bunch; from the MC’s long-suffering parents to Great Death-Courting Senior and his sense of justice to Odd Zhuo and his ineffable luck, there is always something to love (or love to hate!) about the characters. Also given how more and more characters start to show up, the translators have decided to stick with name translations that will be easier to remember and which in most cases reflect the characters’ personalities themselves.
I am sucker for a strong heroines who don't become sappy the second hero sees them. The writing is well done. The grammar is cared for. What's not to like?
As a person who is knowledgeable about baseball, this story hurts my eyes a little. Even in major league the biggest tournament about baseball, 100m is hard to see. Highschool students have an average speed of 70-80miles. Pros can’t even hit 100m much of a 13 year old kid.
interesting at first, but it become boring when the story start kingdom building (political battle). i thought he will first save his parent then adventure it become similar to the first hunter manwha with wide system functions and world building.
good hope it has a great ending
This is going to kill me with two chapters a day
