Granny crossed her arms on her chest in a cool way then cleared her throat, " Well Cherry is young with zero experience about dating, She need to explore more to find the best man before getting married. "
Let's talk about how this author handles dialogue, because Ji Xuan is a MASTERCLASS in saying less. The man barely speaks and yet every line lands. When Cheng Youyou asks if the bamboo is the right size, his response is just — "If it's not suitable, I'll cut another." That's it. Four words. But the subtext is screaming. He's being helpful without being soft. Practical without being cold. And Cheng Youyou's voice? She's got this great internal snark that contrasts perfectly with her careful external politeness. Outwardly she's all "Thanks. This one's perfect." But internally she's doing calculations about salt quotas and wondering if Ji Xuan is some kind of schemer. The gap between what she says and what she thinks is where the humor lives. Zi Wu's dialogue is shorter but equally telling. "Trash, this pig should be enough for you to eat, right?" — that's pure bratty young master energy. And then his whole silent exit when she ignores him? No dialogue needed. The narration does the work. The one line that really stuck with me though is Ji Xuan's internal thought: "In his mind, females were parasites—clinging to males for their reproductive value, feeding off them." That's not dialogue per se, but it's so important for understanding his voice. He's not a cartoon villain — he genuinely believes this. And that makes his slow, reluctant shift when Cheng Youyou offers to split the salt half and half so much more rewarding. You can see the crack forming in real time.
"Hmm…" Leek thought, "That kid said that they'd be here. Where are they?"
Now that her weapon stuck between my fingertips, she tried to pull it away.
"Fuck it... I will never know unless I try, regardless of the outcome maybe I will see some improvement." He let out a heavy sigh as he finished getting dressed. "Guess I won't need Azara today." He mumbled to himself as he sat on his bed and ran a frustrated hand through his hair. Today would be the truest test of his skill in a while.
2 chapters yay! thanks for the chapters!
Chen Gu shouted as he saw Shao Ling running towards him out of the corner of his eye.
Carla "l'm sorry Mia this idiot is just to happy".
The story is nice and all but the main character's attitude or should I say behavior to the protagonist (Long) is just somehow disturbing for me. I know he is scared of dying by the protagonist (Long) hands but come on, don't let it look too pathetic. As I continue reading, the main character's attitude of always trying to appease the protagonist is just too........
very novel please update it a little faster. I hope the story can be slowed down a little. please make him do business also. for example, he could buy under armor
I read the first 20 chapters thus far, so far so good. All the characters are likeable and relatable. I hope the rest of the story manages to keep the quality up. Good job, author, and hope that you don't drop.
novel is good but it can be more better author has habit of streching arcs like MC should kill kevin thoroughly and later that goro orc if he didn't played with them he should able to kill him, this same fight gonna repeat in future
