I reduced a star for story development coz according to me... it's slow pace... you can say it's like a daily log... I hope it speed up ?..... other than that ... good novel.... for a first time writing... author is awesome ???
This is a very interesting novel the characters are in sync. I love the way David and Courtney's relationship is developing. I recommend this novel for everyone to read.

The author changes the whole book like 30 chapters in. The protagonist loses all of his powers and had to start over with a new power. He makes the first 30 chapters a complete waste of time. He was focuses on laws and now he is focused on chess. Also the author already wrote that he will loose is power again once he goes into space. That makes it hard to get internsted in the current story.

Hello there, I am not so sure about this but I really find the MC to be a kinda cool and easy going person but it does not seem to complement his suicidal kind of nature except in cultivation. Kudos to the author.
