Although I didn't experience an intense emotional connection due to the protagonist's clarification that the events weren't real, it still made for an enjoyable read. I admired the main character's growth, as she consistently surpassed the other characters in every aspect, which lifted my spirits. Her character was likable; she never grated on my nerves, even when frazzled. However, I wished the yuri subplot could have received more attention.
Despite the focus being primarily on the lesbian storyline, I can overlook that issue. The ending, though open to interpretation, left me content. Some might view it as eerie, but personally, I appreciated it.
The final arc felt rushed, though. The love interests suddenly declaring their affection for the protagonist seemed implausible, with insufficient character development. The cringe part might be the romance near the end of the novel but that's it. It's not even cringe actually, some ppl just can't stand Romance.

The MC is a bit of a hypocrite on a certain arc, but that also changes once some serious issues are resolved.

Btw, between the author's 3 novels, you could say that Gravis is the only true Main Character, it's literally like Klein in LOTM, they're from a different novel, still in the same world, but there's only 1 actual MC.
The author had some IRL things going on. I believe within the last week they were back around and getting ready to release chaps. I am not sure what the release will be or if it went down to only a few a month.
But the novel is going nowhere and he has a lot planned.
