I dont know who is at fault the translator or the writer but this novel reads like a summary. I have read spoiler sections with more character development and world background.
This is comedy-oriented story with some action in between.
Problem is, this is low-brow comedy and fails miserably. It's as cliche as my friend's jokes he takes from internet.
There's nothing interesting going on plot wise. It's dull and boring, witout any goal. Characters, including MC, are not really well fleshed-out.
Translation is solid and so is MC's disciple Xiaobai. The rest is as average as the carrots I ate for breakfast today.
My head was already busy understanding what the novel was about but I got more soaked in with the content and plot that the novel had I forgot about time and kept reading. If any of you is doubting that this novel over rated then get the in this Big Bosses Room and Slap You Till The Next Volume. If you disagree with this novels ratings then go jump off a building. I for one am very pleased with this and the development of the novel. The mc has his own reasons as it kept going, the society and hierarchy of the system of the world is corrupted but the view in people's perspective were always "innocent", I don't know or might live in the novel (wish I could, who wouldn't) , but I would drastically just slaughter since everyone has an ulterior motive.
honestly i really liked the world building (im not good at english so spare me). it's kinda rushed from chapter 1 but i have no problem with it, and im saying again that i liked the world building because we can see that there are lot's of genius out there and every character have their own past and present. and i liked the kain and arthur's friendship. so please author continue writing it.
This is exhausting to read.
No matter how talented the protagonist is, he'll still be mocked for the the down-right worst reasons (you could possibly think of). All of this for what? So that the author can showcase the protagonist's strength, and face slap some superficial villains along the way. The cultivation system itself is so bare-bones it's clearly the author is expecting you - the reader - to have read the novel this book is based off.
If all of this wasn't enough - there's the 'adorable' little sister. What is she used for? To create problems of course.

I know the story is just getting started but I'm so curious as to what will take place. So far I like the characters and I can't wait to see more of the main character. Furthermore the description of the scenery and the world makes me feel like I can picture everything. Looking forward to the rest of the story please update faster!!!
SInce I've already read quite a decent amount of chapters, my opinions finally compelled in one. The book is good, no doubts — system is realized pretty well! Interesting to read, as well as the writing quality is fluent and easy-to-understand. I took the time to read some good systemic novels, so for people who love those genres, this is a gem.
