I don't feel like making an in-depth review, but, uh, it's pretty okay I guess. I mean, Xianxia isn't particularly my thing, but I think this is a pretty interesting concept. That being said, Bing Xue is NOT material for President of the only real country in the world so I can only rate it 4 out of 5 in Story Development. : )
I recommend this book to everyone, if you are looking for a slow romance and a cold hearted mafia boss, you should read this. Good work author ?
I... this novel made me absolutely speechless.This is one of those coming of age in a drug cartel, mafia, guns, violence type of novel. The author does a great job in tapping into the minds of his characters and making you feel a certain way about them. Sierra- the MC- saw tragedy and had to face and do many things that will affect him throughout the novel. If you like a well-written, descriptive, and strong MC with a hard life- I RECOMMEND THIS!

Okay... I can proudly say this is the first novel on webnovel that I've read with such zeal. I just kept reading chapter after chapter and soon, I found myself immersed in it.It's amazing and even though it's pacing is a little slow, the level of description is amazing. Author should probably do a bit more description on the major characters. It'll help us have an imaginative picture of them while there's no release reference yet.
Please proofread or get an editor.It's really hard to follow with all the grammar errors. This is like using machine translation...........
