There was a novel that's completed which I really loved... it MIGHT be called city of sin? I might be misremembering though.
But it was about one powerful world (the MC being a son of a smallish noble) who would monopolise rifts into other worlds/planes where they would trade/conquer/explore/develop worlds, extracting resources and trading / battling in the main world for position with the other nobles.
It was years ago but I really enjoyed it and it was heavily about developing, I think he enters his first sub-world thing with a handful of people and builds it into a nation with armies and so forth.

I tried, really tried to like the mc, but I don’t. I don’t see how someone can casually write off sexual molestation as something normal, that honestly irritates me. In case someone wants to say something like ‘oh, the mc is just playing around’, or ‘ it’s not that serious’. Please google is your friend, if you are too lazy to check what sexual molestation is, here’s the meaning ‘ to make unwanted or improper sexual advances towards (someone)
especially : to force physical and usually sexual contact on (someone). What I hate most is an Mc that is supposed to be sensible, acting like a rapist, finding every opportunity to grope or touch the fl. From the summary I should I have realized, didn’t think it was going to be this bad. And if someone is still tryna say I’m overreacting, please bear in mind there are people in this world we have been molested who might come across this book and be triggered. The storyline might be good but the character of the Mc is a huge HELL NO.
The anime title is different than the novel title, it’s the same for “That time I was reincarnated as a slime” In which the LN title is “Regarding reincarnating as a slime”

"reverend insanity" it shares multiple similarities with this novel however the mc is a little bit ruthless but he is called great love for his compassionate behaviour and selflessness I really recommend this masterpiece as the story is full of enjoyable heart stirring moments and it has made me smile
After reading a lot of murin god slaying novels and looking for some comedy this is one of the best novels of that genre this sh*t almost had me dying of laughter
