Love this book!!! Read it 2x already and everytime I read it it does not disappoint!!! Definitely really slow but a well written book. I would recommend reading it.
it is true he doesn't really have much of an ambition and that the power/strength is determined by gene ranking. However, his ambition is actually to just explore the universe and never settle down. He lives for adventure and uncovering new things and he does do so in the entire novel, creating history.
