This novel is great ?? but all of the first short stories that I read have endings that makes me feel very uncomfortable ? although the stories are interesting and one ☝️ of akind but they’re not the kind that I like.
I don't know why this novel rates so high. Don't be fooled by the high ratings, this novel is pretty much garbage. MC is irrational and childish even though he lived a very long life and still acts immature he is so unlikeable and boring, the author doesn't even know how Governments work, i.e When a country that suddenly shows up in the middle of nowhere with advance weaponry in that current timeline I'm hella sure this gonna blow up and all the Governments in the Earth will be making a fuss about this and trying to contact that country already and that country will be making headlines for all media outlets but in this novel the Government does nothing except just scouting the area via battleships and when they sunk the ships of USSR that is pretty much a declaration of WAR and an international incident and I get there's ******* between the USA and USSR at that time but even the USSR, NATO, EU and other countries should've made a move but all other countries did nothing in return and they act like nothing happened or act like that new country doesn't exist. This is bull****, the author only have basic knowledge about economics and his execution for economics is even inaccurate, take for example the MCs Chrono Holdings, when a corporate company horrifyingly grows too big to be on the top in JUST 5 YEARS just by investing in stocks with 100% accuracy I'm hella sure the USA and even thier enemy USSR will be raising an eyebrow to that and there's gonna be a secret investigation against them even if they bribe most of the politicians but still nothing happens. The grammar was below average at best, the story telling was so fast-paced and awful it feels like a summarization. This is crap

Considering that this is the first work of the author as he said so himself, this is pretty good. The chapters are long and he could definitely chop them up to two or three chapters to gain more leeway in writing it, just saying. There were dark scenes as well hidden in there so watch out for it.
This novel gave me a mix feeling. I want to continue at the same time I don’t. This is mainly dUe to the MC. Spoiler:Stole an Bird egg. MC: Why is this bird targeting me?Stole a phone.MC: How did they find me?Did a test evaluation on machine even tho he already have the system.Also show off power at moment where it clearly will back fire later on.(Chap 48)Don’t know how it will continue later on.
What did I just read? I actually wasted my time reading this only to find out that MC actually gets together with his cheating wife? Are you joking me author? I am just so mad that I will give 1 star, sorry. I usually want to make proper review, but I now hate my life because reading this story.
Okay so can we just talk about how Fu Yuanzheng is absolutely unhinged and I love it? The man literally eats almond tofu in front of everyone like it's nothing, and when nobody panics because it's NOT poisoned, his entire worldview cracks. He's so used to betrayal and assassination attempts that genuine kindness confuses him more than any poison ever could. And Yao Chengcheng? She's just over there like 'why would I poison you, do I have a death wish?' and it's the most normal reaction possible in the most abnormal situation. The way Eunuch Fu goes from 'you're a spy!' to 'she's a savior!' in two seconds is hilarious. But what really got me is that moment when Fu Yuanzheng asks about Fu Man's old injury and then tells him to see the imperial physician. He's this paranoid, isolated prince who trusts absolutely no one, yet he notices when his servant is in pain. That's the whole dynamic right there—two people who can't quite figure out how to be human around each other, but keep slipping anyway. The prince hired her as a COOK, not a consort, and that's honestly the healthiest power move she's made all chapter. She walked into a lion's den and said 'I'll just be the person who feeds you.' No schemes, no romantic grandstanding. Just... food. Which is somehow more dangerous than any assassination plot because it's genuine and he has no defense against that.
This book is wonderful. however it seemed to have been sped up a lot. I wonder if the author has the 2nd book out like she said she would.

it's a really interesting story and I suggest to all the readers please read this book, and it's different from others book
