Even though it is a new book your work is great so far, i can totally see your efforts and your book has a lot of potential, it just needs a little editing and everything would be prefect, the characters are lovable especially the Mc. keep up the good work and good luck.
Good writing quality, but there are a few grammar mistakes, the story is good I like it, just hope he won't get arrogant and wonder what happens if he gets his draconic bloodline too. I like the character so far, just hope he will be more vampire less human in the future, 6 chapters a weeks is good.

I haven't read horror in a while, this was a nice return to it!First off, I really like the interactions between Oliver and Noah, they're both enjoyable and pretty realistic characters. The description of the horror stalking Noah gave me a vivid, creepy image in my head--which means the author succeeded!I like where this is going and definitely will be waiting to see what comes next.
What you will find in this novel, dear reader? A story of a soul that stayed for a long time in the darkness and is transmigrated to another world with a simple job: protect someone. Maybe the fate of the world will be decided if he suceeeds or not.
this novel is good i actually read this on other site yesterday and its on
Wow, such an amazing read so far. I think it’s a fun read if you want another VRMMORPG past-self reincarnation story. Though it’s Chinese, so be prepare for that writing style and use of tropes. The system is broken and not balanced at all. If the author were a game developer, no one would play his game. The usage of tactics is mediocre. The world is pretty interesting. It's a futuristic setting and the civilization is supposedly space-faring, but the author doesn't really expand on it all too much, which is a shame.
Okay so I've ran into this many many times. Didn't start reading it. I always left it in the list of "read this at some point". I regret the amount of trash I looked through...when I could have started reading this.
The beginning of the story is very enjoyable but compared to the rest of the story it feels lackluster.
I love the jokes. Sure I was sleep deprived when I first started reading but the comedy is most certainly not lacking.
The world of the story and the connections etc are extremely fitting. It is all somewhat chaotic but I enjoy it.
The characters are...well they're characters. They aren't all just carbon copies of each other. There's actual substance. If they're presented with a choice they make one that fits them and their situation. They make choices based on things within their realms of understanding. If you see someone arguing in a bar, you'll probably think "At best they know how to fight. Laws do in fact exist...they might kill but yea". That is thinking in your realm of understanding. If one person suddenly burns people into ashes your logical side might be like "I stand corrected. That mfing dude just used some magic fire bs...I surrender." Also the cliches are pointed out and such, which always feels nice. Even if that in and of itself is a cliche.
I wrote a good bit but still feels like I haven't said enough. Just read it. I suggest reading at least 20-30 chapters before passing any judgment. Obviously your time and your choice but if you enjoy op characters and comedy then I suggest sticking around.
This is one of those books that his your in due to the story simplicity, something to take the edge of. This is until you are met with a confused MC who one minute understand the cultivation world while the next he's a virgin MC from anime (I've really never understood those mc, you build harem of girls who are throwing themselves at but you still continue the virgin streak. like 'reinacarnated with a smartphone in another world').
The guy has the attitude that he's better than everyone else, when he meets the little price, when he meets the Yue clan descendant, .... never read past that.
one moment he's saying he's not a good person when planning to steal the people's resources the next he's disgusted by possessing a bandit. You have to remember this is a person who has already walked the cultivation path once before to the second highest realm.
overall even his breakthrough don't feel like an achievement at all.

The chapters are split up. Chapter 40(1) on webnovel is actually chapter 19 MTL/RAW. The site smuggled in a new business opportunity - splitting the chapters. In this case, they gave us less than 19 full chapters. Used to be 60.. 40.. What a magic! Of deception.
The first chapters.. are unpolished by the author in my opinion. But if it improves later on then it's fine. There's some bland, stiff dialogue, unnatural behaviour, forced plot. The high rating's reason? Author's name does the job, for example. Besides, there's potential, just that the execution so far is average.
The MC got [Agility] talent, then after using it he calls himself talented while being serious. Ha ha ha.. :D
It's one of these novels where the one that takes MC role is decided by system (or well, apparently it's his Super ability). The author doesn't bother to write about the process of e.g. overcoming a language barrier. Just use system and... done, problem solved. For convenience...
Grown men shown so far have somewhat flawed, unsuitable mentality for the roles they play (apparently they are experienced hunters but I wonder how they grew up and how they survived till now in such a dangerous world). The MC himself is alright, a bit dumb, a sheltered flower, no survival skills, so whatever logic or reasoning he comes up with is fine:) Hopefully he'll grow up as his adventures continue, or else be prepared for masterminds to have less IQ than he does.
The author chose to write a novel with system and copied a popular idea. What was his motivation for this, one could wonder. In the same batch of trials, the author of "Protect our Patriarch(Chief)" actually roasted this kind of system novels.
My comment is based only on the 19 (split into 40) chapters translated right now, because I have not touched MTL. If I read more chapters in future I'll either re-write my comment or add a fresh one with proper rating. 19 is not much after all and the subsequent might have a higher quality, I don't know. There are novels like World's Best Martial Artist, Museum of Deadly Beasts, A Sorcerer's Journey, Black Iron's Glory and many more that had even more boring, or cliche, or flawed initial chapters yet turned out to be much much better as I continued to read. It might also be the case with Astral Apostle.
Absolutely mesmerizing story line. Cant stop reading. All other duties was put on hold until I finished the story. Will definitely be looking for more books by this author.
