Seriously translator? Are you that lazy? Shixiong,shidi,shijie,laoda and etc? We do not need the pinyin of these things. It causes the readers to put in unnecessary effort just to read this book. It's even worse for readers who are new to pinyin. How fucking lazy can you get? Won't give you a five star rating until you update all of them from chapter 1 onwards.
Hi, so I've already read this in on the Chinese site a few years back, and I was pretty surprised by this story. overall, this is a story about a guys who gets transmigrated to another realm, when he spontaneously combust due to his Nine Yang bloodline. In this new realm he is trapped in a glacier with a powerful expert who was tricked by his enemies. This powerful expert teaches him cultivation, and due to appreciation of his talent (and because he is about to die soon), he betrothes his only daughter to the MC. The story progresses, and no surprise, the daughter doesn't want to marry and is pretty repulsive of the entire idea. The reason this story stands out is due to the unique setting of the world, (there are multiple realms who are just part of the same world), the fact that the MC doesn't just sail through everything due to plot armour, and the fact that MC actually makes use of his earthly knowledge in some situations. The ending is also pretty good (which is rare for a Chinese novel) and doesn't feel too rushed or forced. Also, the consequences of situation has a unique impact on the world, which I haven't seen before.Some caveats in this novel, are the somewhat 2D characters and romance targets, typical arrogant face smacking, and other typical Chinese Wuxia troves that you'll find in almost every other Chinese novel. If you get beyond this, you'll find that NYSS has a pretty unique setting and a fulfilling romance.Overall this is one of the more memorable story that I've read - so I'd definitely recommend this.
Really a quite different story from what synopsis it's have. Though set in a cliche zone where the author of story transmigrated into the body of story's villian. People assume that it'll be similar to those novels where with a system villian transforms into a big bad multitasking powerhouse. But no our mc struggles to keep his family and company together while trying to survive protagonist attacks and his company's bankruptcy.The cliche here is that his system isn't that gives him face powerup, charms with ladies, money or fighting skills as free sale coupon. He has to struggle to save his company, defeat protoganist without getting caught up in act, and use his author's knowledge to his use.Some people feel it's like bland other novels in beginning but as the chapters gets over 30 real plot begins.Without spoiler further it's really a great past time read and don't follow to cliche.Also it's MTL version is easily readable but some love to translator for his great efforts in translation as he added more terms and proverbs for situations to make story more interesting.
pros:-fresh martial world element different from chinese mainstream-completely new jobs/profession and level-many new concept that will be interesting if developed futhercons:- too fast paced world building, lead to a confusing stories- poor character development- author tried to create a comedy mc but failed to deliver.- relationships between character is not logical (with a brief introduction mc became very familiar with other character)
this is nothing but dumb cliches and stuff that makes no sense. bad grammer as well. could have been good but was ruined with bad writing.
This is an honest review in that I will say the story and translation quality is pretty good....but I would suggest not picking this up until it is finished because the release schedule is as follows: there is none, this will update sporadically and still demand you pay premium cost despite there often being weeks or longer between releases.
