I absolutely adore this one! The FL exudes calmness and rationality, with a tender side for those in need. The ML is overpowered but still relatable, showcasing a surprising sense of humor. The supporting characters are a delightful mix of hilarious and endearing, while their communication network is impressively well-developed.
The author of this book is more dedicated on another site, it's one of the reasons why chapters on this book on this site specifically can be a little behind updates.
I doubt this would make it to top 50 with the amount of audience that are more into uhh... hack-slash-upgrade-slap kinda thing but safe to say top 200s are a nice trajectory to say there are always hidden gems if you know where to look

The novel is filled with incessant inner thoughts, which account for a substantial 40% of the content. The character's meticulous analysis of every minor action drags on, especially considering the short chapter lengths, giving the impression that the author is stretching the word count unnecessarily. The fight scenes are decent, but the plot revolves primarily around character development and getting stronger.
One major issue I have is the constant near-misses where the protagonist narrowly avoids disaster by being oblivious to the situation and casually wandering until danger escalates. It's frustrating how often this happens.
In summary, if you're looking for a read with average plot but decent character dynamics and occasional heartwarming moments, this might be worth a try. However, don't expect a gripping storyline.
I've completed reading 16 volumes of this web novel, and unfortunately, it's not worth my time. The central mystery fails to receive adequate attention, and the protagonist's journey feels aimless. The characters are one-dimensional, making it challenging to keep track of their identities when they reappear. The pacing is sluggish, and the story often drags, leading to skimming through repetitive content.
Dialogue and attempts at humor feel stale and unoriginal. My personal opinions aside, I haven't developed any genuine connection with the main cast; in fact, many characters come across as unappealing. There's a point where the protagonist's character arc takes an abrupt and unsatisfactory turn, turning him into a hypocrite that can no longer be redeemed.
Despite this, I must commend the Sousetsuka group for their efforts. However, the comment section on their website leaves something to be desired.
Alright, I'm writing this review because I felt compelled to share my thoughts. The storyline of "Feng Yu Jiu Tian" is indeed intriguing, particularly its engaging war elements and the concept of uniting all kingdoms under one ruler – these aspects initially drew me in. However, I took a break from it but eventually resumed due to the captivating side couple, He Di and Zi Yan, who quickly became my favorites in the story.
As for the main couple, Feng Ming and Rong Tian, I must admit that I'm not a fan. Despite not outright hating Feng Ming, he doesn't come across as the intelligent, cunning character he's described to be. He seems overly girlish, childlike, and somewhat naive, which becomes frustrating at times. Feng Ming felt more like a female character from a shoujo manga to me, and his behavior annoyed me enough to consider dropping the series initially.
Rong Tian, on the other hand, is portrayed as quite abusive towards the original prince, An He. It breaks my heart to see An He suffer so much, and though I can understand a character being ruthless to others, Rong Tian crossed a line with his treatment of An He, making him a character I dislike.
The antagonist, Ruo Yan, is a formidable presence and serves as the novel's scariest character, earning the title. Both Rong Tian and Ruo Yan share similarities, and the antagonist's strength is undeniable.
While the plot itself is captivating, I feel it's been stretched out unnecessarily. The treatment of An He, who faced immense trauma and injustice, deeply affected my perception of the main couple. Feng Ming's constant blame on An He as the body's original occupant further soured my feelings. He Di and Zi Yan's relationship, though toxic, had a stronger appeal to me than the main pairing.
In conclusion, if you can overlook Rong Tian's abuse and tolerate Feng Ming's annoying traits, the intriguing plot makes "Feng Yu Jiu Tian" worth a read. However, for those sensitive to these issues, it might become unbearable. The plot remains the standout feature of the novel for me.
I don't even know why bother to read such stories, tbh. There's no character growth, no one in theses novels feel real. RMJTI has a pretty regular world, but at least characters are well built and developed. Also the power level is well balanced and MC doesn't get to faceslapp everyone until he grows enough to be at the top.
