Man… I don’t know if I can keep going anymore. Don’t get me wrong this novel isn’t bad, it’s good. The main reason why is the enemies Su Zimo faces; bro has beef with everyone, the “Immortal” cultivators, Buddhist cultivators all the way to Fiend cultivators, and all because they covet his treasures under the disguise that he’s a Demon and not a human. It’s repetitive and goes on and on and on. Like a never ending stream of p*ss. Su Zimo could beef with the whole continent and I wouldn’t care, but his foes are short sighted with room temperature IQ. He kills hundreds of thousands but all that vanishes the moment they seem to remember he has a priceless treasure. It’s predictable man; every realm he meets a “peerless” genius, defeats them, the “peerless” genius request help because Su Zimo is a “Demon” and as “Immortal” cultivators and humans they must kill him… then repeat. His foes have no drive. They cultivate for tens of years, hundreds, thousands but greed still blind their Heart.
Is this really the end or does it get the axe?

I used to not be a fan of light novels, but this particular one caught my interest because the manga adaptation is slow-paced and takes a while to progress. The curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to give it a try. So far, I'm pleasantly surprised by how well-developed all the characters are. I would even say it's an enjoyable isekai story.
Alright, although I haven't delved much into Korean novels (except for Orv, perhaps), my preference for manhwa means I absolutely adore this one. It's a slow burn, but believe me, at 265 chapters in, I haven't found a single dull moment! The pacing of the story arcs is impeccable, and the characters are incredibly well-developed, with even minor characters showing growth, which I appreciate.
So far, Our protagonist, Yuder, isn't your typical main character - he can come across as unemotional and detached, yet he embraces change and accepts that he may not have all the answers, despite his past experiences. Kishiar, on the other hand, is your classic "近乎完美的" male lead, but his charming and supportive nature makes it hard not to fall for him.
Their relationship... simply breathtaking.
Additionally, the world-building is top-notch – it's a treat to explore. And as for the translation, it stands out as being quite good compared to others I've read. Give this series a chance, be patient, and you'll find it's definitely worth the wait. ?
